As long as it is within the 10 days extension, I'd say why wouldn't Pacquiao take the bout...Arum did say Floyd could still make it as Pacquiao's next opponent.

There honestly wouldn't be any point unless nothing was solidified for PAC facing anther opponent. But it wouldn't look good for Floyd b/c of the "timing" issues....which has been a major problem with Floyd and negotiating a fight with PAC. His timing for "wanting to clean up the sport"....his timing on making accusations about PAC being dirty....his timing on wanting to push for a 60/40 split when 50/50 was already agreed to has all been highly suspect which is why the majority are blaming Floyd for being the cause of this fight not taking place.

i still think they will fight in may if they wont figt in novwemeber

something is telling me that they want to take one more fight each

which will promote fight in general public figt that bit more.

    floyd against tim bradley

    pac against arum stable fighter.

this is why i think arum isnt pushing floyd because they are doing more business with each other then we think

If Cotto or Margacheato already have a contract signed, then Arum better pay them some ****in step-aside money.

Floyd-Pac gets priority over any other fight, especially two bull**** fights like Pac-Cotto2 or Pac-Cheato.

I say the absolute cutoff point would be early/mid September when training camps would need to start. Hell even that might be negotiable. The fight is too important.

Did he actually push for 60-40 split?...because I see everyone repeating it, but I havn't seen an actual reliable source. This maybe because I havn't looked around on the internet for it, but the only sources provided on this forum havn't even been close to reliable.

spud may be right. ( can't believe i said that ) but business is business and there's a **** load of money to be made in the fight and there is no ****ing way arum, floyd and GBP will allow this fight not to happen. They might as well sell their business for a dollar if they do.

I would say the opportunity was there, ready and waiting for him, and he turned his nose up at it, so no dice. Pacquiao is The Fighter Of The Decade, official, he doesn't need to chase anyone ever. If Floyd shirks the challenge now, he should have to live with it.

Floyd is ducking, because if a fight was already made for Pacquiao to fight someone else, then Mayweather would be making a ***** move to call him out for December when a fight's just been made for Pac.

Money May is busy helping disadvantaged children and the homeless. He is also a family man and needs time to spend with them.

Dont forget he has been working hard since last November all the way to May. Training for Pac only to have him duck him and having to train all over again for Mosley who was man enough to step up has to be tiring.

fighter of the decade is not the equivalent of owning a belt or p4p.

it is given by a bunch of writers.

just like it has no value in negotiations. on the other hand it is an excellent award to be given.
