that fight is cursed mate!

 

i didn't think much of him against bienias mate. i mean he has got something, but he needs to stop knocking people out at nightclubs, and concentrate on boxing tbh

 

To be honest I bet the bar manager had a better chin than anyone he's been in with so far.

Ten stoppages in a row but all against scrubs (Lomax excepted).

Heard Birminghams a quality night out, i'll be there that night cant wait for the boxing and then the crawl afterwards.

 

Ha ha I think Nightingales is a gay bar,

Lg arena is about 10/12 miles from centre of town,

Whenever I go out in brum normally go Brindley place, which is towards bottom of broad st, or the arcadian which is right next to new st station, if you can get a train from Lg arena?

Unfortunatly I have already booked up a weekend away with friends that weekend so cant go !!!!atsch

 

Its a tough one for me to argue against mate because as people have noted elsewhere Brooks level of competion hasnt been great so far so you can look at it 2 ways -

1) He will rise to the level of his competition as he goes from fight to fight and show his class

2) He will get "found out" once he meets someone at a good level domestically or on the European scene

I go for the first option and can only see him losing once he gets to World Class. I like the way he has taken care of his business getting the likes of McIntyre and Lomax out of there early.

Fair enough there are tougher challenges out there domestically like Jennings but i could argue that Jennings hasnt looked great in a few of his outings lately (taking the Cotto fight out of the equation).

Either way roll on Sept 18th (if the fight actually goes ahead)

 

Although am going with other people, would not be bad to meet a few lads off here for a pint in the arena before the fight starts, i know there are sometimes esb meet ups and stuff. nothing gay, just a pint, and i am steering well clear of this nightingales club!
