I really hope James puts mitts on that fool, but...

    Press conference:

"He didn't want to fight... All huggin' like a girl..."

    "But James you were sleep?"

"No I wasn't. I was waitin' to fight.

As great of a boxer as Toney W A S, he is in an unwinnable situation with this MMA bull****.

Toney don't even have the KO power to pull an upset win, as Ray Mercer did.

Toney will be taken down and thrashed, fast. And even if Toney does land a few solid shots, he don't have enough KO power to turn the tides.

All Toney's [(previous) great boxing ability won't get him **** in this fight, when he's on his back, getting his arm twisted into a pretzel.

The UFC need to hype up a 0-0 fighter, simple as.

Most of the UFC fanbase won't have heard of James Toney until they started to promote this fight.

    Imply?

James Toney can't hit as hard as Ray Mercer, that is factual.

Beebs why are you stalking me man?

With those 4oz gloves, toney could knock tim sylvia out just the same.. and if the two of them fought i think toney would have a good chance of winning.

And that has what to do with who hits harder? Ray Mercer clearly hits harder than Toney, this is just a matter of fact.

  10. Its sad to say but I actually agree with you.

Most American fans nowdays wont know any other fighter previous to TUF 7 and most wont know any fighter outside the UFC.

Thats because he cant. James can punch no question but he started his career at middleweight. Theres no doubting James power but no way he punches as hard as a natural heavy like Mercer.
