Povetkin doesn't show up to press conference.

    I don't like like the looks of this. Hopefully he will show up to the fight. Or could this guy be looking for a built in excuse? It seems as though Klitschko already has this fight in the in bag mentally and Povetkin is on the run in my book! You have to give the War of the Worlds clearly to Klitschko thus far.


    Team Klitschko was informed at midnight that Povetkin could not take the flight from New York due to a sinus inflammation. “I am very disappointed that Povetkin did not show up today,” said Wladimir. “For two weeks, we have tried to force him to come. He could have shown that he is ready to fight me. It’s the first time in my entire career that my opponent did not come to the press conference.”

    Yes, that is correct Haye went to all the press conferences against both of the brothers.

    Yeah, i knew last week or more povetkin wasnt going. He told wlad "Im in the US, I dont want to go" but then said "I'll go". so they set the PK. Then he pulled out last minute again

    Wlad is very concerned that this may lead to something bigger down the line... like another pullout

    Let's hope Povetkin doesn't pull the same ****. If Povetkin pulls out then the IBF has to strip him of his mandatory and they should put in Peter or whoever.

    I really hope Povetkin don't pull out. The last thing Haye needs right now is any more pressure on him to fight Klitschko!

    2 years wlad has waited to bust his nuts!
    He's got more balls than void though, at least he signed the ****ing contract.

    Tell Sam Peter to get in the gym 'just in case', Maybe speak to Top Rank to use him on the undercard & then he can slot in when Povetkin eventually pulls out ;)

    I havent asked yet. Ill find out...

    I did notice Wlad already talked about it on another web site.....so now I can.... they told Povetkin..."You dont go... that a break of the contract. We will not sit around and have you pull out at a later date. If you dont show, we will start to look for a replacement... SAM PETER"

    I dont know if it actually happen, but it could. BTW Peter is #2 IBF
