Ok sorry i'm bit late in replying lads just got in.

Ok firstly i like to thank you all for your enthusiasm towards the idea. Been quite bored seeing PBF-PAC, Haye-Klits etc. Sick and tired of it. So thought it be refreshing to talk about the new breed of fighters who really want to make Boxing good again.

Royalt0208- I understand totally where your coming from. This was a big reason why i didn't want to do thread because i feared it would be shot down because fact some fighters will face easier opposition then others. But modern day boxing is what it is. But i will amend the points so that it makes things a bit fairer all round but i don't think i do percentages because it take up a lot of time. :good

Yep your right :yep. I should of made it clearer on OP :good. Fighters cannot be a World Champion or have held a world title at any time in career.

Now in the case of Gamboa he isn't full champion so he still for me and many others isn't a world champion. I don't class the IBO as a world title. So i will take the major 4 governing bodies full championships as the bar in which fighters then lose prospect status in this league. So if a fighter is WBO interim champion he still isn't a world champion until he is given the full status as WBO world champion. I hope people see what i mean . The WBA if there's a super champion and your prospect is regular champion. He still isn't full champion in my eyes. Sorry if you don't agree :tong

Saul Alveraz situation is a tough one. He's had many fights now and i apologize if anyone wanted to pick him but i think we keep rules as it is...as he's a bit of a one off in this day and age.

Sorry Steven. Donaire falls into world champion status. Jacob's is going for a title but falls into right category so yes Jacob's in fine.

Hopefully this explains everything. Make sure you have a team/promotional name. And hopefully more people will enter the league. :good

    Awesome thread. :thumbsup

    Team Bums-R-Us

Rigondeaux- Amateur pedigree speaks for itself, will no doubt step up the competition rapidly. The best 122 in the world imo.

Gennady Golovkin- Another beast as an amateur and brings his power with him to the pros. Fighting in a joke of a world title soon but is expected to have a real title fight against another top prospect N'Jikam as a first defence. Will prove himself to be a level above all the many prospects there are at that weight imo.

Gamboa- The only feather I think that can beat him is JuanMa and thats a 50/50 fight. Gamboa will probably have the more successful career. He is a better boxer.

I'm not sure who to put in my side if it's a matter of what will you get points for raking up wins or the most success :think

OK I hold my hands up I have single handedly bumbed out this thread by over complicating it.

If they enter late they can't say oh well so and so ko'd him so i get points for him. They start from the moment they join. They cannot go to previous fights in the league. Early bird gets the worm and all that. They have to just catch up like Allan Green in super six

Yep i know who's in. If people want they can pm me when there fight has fought and i can keep tabs. But it be handy if people could look after there own fighters aswell. So that if there mans fighting they can bump thread and keep people aware of thread etc.

I'm going to edit my OP again tomorrow night. I noticed some people still need to change there squad. Once they do then i will edit post and all teams will be on front page.
