You think that $30Million is on level with a number like $70 million for a PAC fight? Seriously? Sure they may be more dangerous than PAC.....but what makes you think with how Floyd has been acting would actually see Floyd take on a HIGHER RISK for a LOWER REWARD?:huh

Where is the logic in that? Also......two fights with Williams or Martinez would make him less than one fight would with Manny...??:? You seem to be missing the ability to understand what is basic common sense.

Everyone knows that the end of the world isn't Nove 13th 2010......No...the end of the world is 12/21/2010:lol: So knowing that......Floyd should not **** up the chance at getting this money when the world is coming to an end in 2012.:rofl

Right. We should all assume Floyd desperately NEEDS $70 mil and he HAS to fight on November 13th otherwise he gets crucified. That doesn't sound like a sport to me. That sounds like dictatorship. You sound like a Nazi. Either that or a butt-hurt Pac fan who is sore over the fact that Manny lost a chance to be the first to defeat Floyd.

I'm not assuming Floyd will fight Sergio or Paul. My point is there are better opportunities for him from a competitive standpoint. Making $70 mil in one fight is nice but making that much in two fights is not a bad idea either. Sure, I'm disappointed that the fight didn't get made. But the punishment being handed to him does not fit the crime. In fact, I don't think there's anything wrong with taking advantage of a Summer vacation. You couple that with Roger's trial and Floyd has valid reasons to put off the mega fight...for now.

Now if he ends up officially retiring or makes a poor choice, say, he fights Matt Hatton, then I will concede to the consensus opinion that he's a *****. Otherwise I find it ridiculous and really obnoxious behavior to lambaste a man for having desire to take a temporary break from his occupation.

When? In the "negotiations" that NEVER happened?

Pac never conceded. He is "conceding" to the 14 day cut off from LAST negotiations. He knows that isn't available.

If he wanted the fight he wouldn't ask for it. That whole countdown was a lie Arum made up.

Charlie do you see how silly you sound especially with the lies from Arum?

So now Mayweather "needs" to fight Pac, but where were you when Pac was ducking to fight Clottey? You feel Clottey was a higher risk fight?

Now you are standing buy while Pac is going to take on Margarito. The guy who was KTFO by the guy Mayweather just beat. You backing that too?

Man you are far gone... :nut

I'm waiting for some actual information to chew on. Arum really hasn't told us much, Team Mayweather really hasn't told us much. There's a lot of uncertainty and I'm hoping for something concrete.

No one said he's desperate for anything....we are just talkin about Floyd "MONEY" Mayweather whom himself has stated he is ALL about the money....the more the merrier. I just wished that held true b/c if that was the case $70 million would have brought "THAT" Floyd to the ring on Nov 13th or March 13th for that matter.

Now I'm a Nazi?:rofl Calm down bro.....it's really not that serious. No one is forcing Floyd to do anything. They are just EXPECTING him to react the same way he has before. Especially if PAC isn't any more or less of a threat than anyone of his previous oppents who have "tried and failed". And that is to do his job which is to lace up and kuckle down. Getting Floyd to fight Manny is like a job in itself.

And it's comical you are insinuating that I'm acting like a "butt hurt" fan when its the very few HARDCORE Floyd fanatics who are defending Floyd's actions when they have nothing solid to support their efforts.....You seem to be taking it up the ass for Floyd jsut b/c you love him. No one likes getting ****ed in the ass....do you?:?

Floyd doesn't care about COMPETITIVE bro.....anymore than he cares about "cleaning up the sport". Floyd cares about his paper which if what you are saying is true.....Manny is PERFECT..

Manny by your account isn't a challenge but offers him a very HIGH reward and major perks to his legacy which Floyd has been trying to improve more recently. S

So your "point" about Floyd looking for "competitive" options and over looking the financial gain is ******ed. No offense.:smoke

you do the math....Floyd fights 1 time a year now....how is he gonna make $60 Million with Paul or Sergio if he is only fighting ONE time a year?:huh Unless he fights them in ONE NIGHT?:D

PAC can make Floyd $70Mill...for less of a risk which makes much more sense both financially and with regards to his legacy.

I'm all for Floyd taking a much deserved Vacation.....he has that right. Manny took one himself recently. But the difference is that Manny was willing to make the fight where Floyd wasn't.

Floyd nor PAC needs one anther to survive. But if they want this money they do need each other.

PAC didn't spread lies or accusations about Floyd doping and creating the obstacle for blood testing demands. that was Floyd.

PAC didn't say no to the demands even though it was well within his right to tell Floyd to **** off as I'm sure FLoyd would have done if PAC had tried his best to tarnish and discredit his career and accomplishements.

Bottom line the drug testing came out of left field and stalled the fight which came from Floyd....and Floyd is the cause for the fight not happening in Nov.

You stood behind Floyd fighting Shane right? He lost to Cotto whom PAC destroyed. I don't have no problems with Fighters who fight guys who have lost in the past b/c not everyone has an undefeated record like Floyd.

Styles make fights which is why we saw the differences in performances against common opponents. JMM got dominated by Floyd at WW....PAC struggled at 126 and 130. Floyd stuggled with Rick and DLH where PAC blew threw them easily.

That doesn't mean one or the other are shoe ins to win based on that....STYLES MAKE FIGHTS!

And I may be far "gone".....but that's only b/c you are blind bro...you don't know which direction is up with how you are blinding defending Floyd without any foundation to stand on. Even FLOYD FANS are calling it the way it is. You are no better than the *******S whom you like to clown. You just support anther fighter to the same extent.:smoke
