The pure ****ing naive ignorance that all Ali did was call him names astounds me.

To know so little about a subject, and to look at it outside of the racially charged 70's when said events occurred.

I don't blame Frazier for being pissed off at the time.....but damn he's holding onto that anger for a long time, maybe he needs therapy or something because Ali has apologised and only has good things to say about Frazier these days.

The thing is...I've heard many a Frazier interview and he sounds like he's in not much better shape than Ali at the moment.

Time to concentrate on yourself Joe, and let the hate go, I reckon. I understand the initial anger but now? After all these years? Meh.

 

I think Joe felt like betrayed him, which is always very hard to forgive.

Don't even listen to that troll. every time he posts it almost always involves insulting another fighter or putting them down. In this instance, Ali was no ****. But Frazier should really just get over it. I know what Ali did to him. But Frazier also called Ali clay in 67'. So he initated it, and it looks like he still calls him clay. Terrell also called Ali clay and Ali called him and uncle tom. I don't think Terrell is bitter to this day.

Yeah I need to get around to that one. I've a pile of books three feet high to get though at the mo tho lol. I've read people talking about g.o.m on forums though which is where I got the story from, also why I got it wrong. Can you tell me a little bit more about that incident?
