Gander, the state of Team Mayweather is a "CLUSTER****" or a "CHINESE FIRE DRILL". I don't know which mental picture is funnier. The Pretty One and his "crack" team of advisers could have avoided this by making a DEFINITIVE statement some 30 or 40 days ago. The reason why they didn't is because up until that deadline THEY THOUGHT the fight could STILL happen. As it was the Pretty One who has a nasty habit of diarrhea of the mouth could only muster for his FANS "My mind isn't on boxing." ROFLMAO... I guarantee if those few idiot writers that voted the FRAUD P4P #1 in Yahoo, Mayweather wouldn't have acted so brashly. If he is still considered number 1 it will show all the flaws the current Yahoo system has. The Pretty One wanted this fight as much as illegal aliens want the Arizona immigration law enforced...

 

Arum said himself that not even one word was discussed betweent he two camps dirctly. That dosent sound like a negotiation for a 100 milliion dollar fight to me

 

Its called using a 3rd party, in this case HBO. HBO who will help pay for the fight and purse. If you can't believe a neutral 3rd party, the president of HBO boxing, working hard on this deal as the go between for the two party then there is no point in arguing any further.

That is actually a good setup for hostile or hardliner camps. HBO can filter things and verify facts. He said she said can be sorted out.

 

One reason why the HBO owner didn't wanna say anything is because they ( GBP TR and HBO ) are trying to salvage this fight. This is a mega fight that doesn't happen often. Greenburg is probably really pissed right now because he knows that with what's going on, people will lose interest in the fight and there goes the money.

Who knows. Maybe this is all part of a joke to us boxing fans so the three giants ( HBO TR AND GBP ) can squeeze all the money they can get in to this fight.

 

You know, we all know TR, GBP, and HBO want this fight to happen. As a business venture, it will go down as the gold standard. The problem is PBF, he doesn't want to fight. HBO and GBP now have to dance around w/o totally alienating PBF all the while getting him to sign to fight. I think Schaeffer and GBP are screwed. What use is a multi fight contract with PBF if he doesn't fight and especially the fight that's obviously going to bring in the biggest ****ing payday he's ever seen?

 

popularity and hype for a fight works as a bubble. if that bubble hasn't burst by now, it's about to shortly.sigh.

 

PBF's camp can spout all the bull**** they want now cause HBO TR and GBP will tolerate them as long as it will keep the possibility of a fight next year alive

 

deal. TRP, GBP and HBO are businessmen. and they know that people are salivating over this fight.

seriously, can you just imagine the dough that these 3 will make from this fight. heck, they don't even have to market these fight extensively and this will still sell out.
