Has looked for a while like it'd be Waters - but seems set now:

Waters targets Cotto - Plotting next move after Mundine

By Ray Wheatley (World of Boxing 19th July 2010)

WBA #7, WBO #5 154 pounder Ryan Waters (20-2-2, 12 KOs) is looking to upset WBA #2 Anthony Mundine (39-3, 22 KOs) when they clash in

    in NSW, Australia.

Waters would then set his sights on the WBA champion Miguel Cotto for the title. Waters trainer and manager David Birchell is excited that Waters will get an opportunity to defeat Mundine.

“That would be special,” Birchell said. ”This fight could lead to very big things for Ryan, including a world title shot with Miguel Cotto. We’re really looking forward to it. Ryan is training well, don’t worry, we’ll have the game plan and Anthony knows Ryan well enough from sparring against him that he’ll turn up to fight.”

*Good work Ray but can't help laughing at the last line. When are people going to finally wake up, and stop believing this charade?

Agreed mate, and if Mundine continues to fight people he should beat on natural ability alone, eventually one will probably beat him.

It's hilarious that sports writers continue with...then Mundine can move on to Cotto....then Mayweather....stuff.

Suppose the names sell papers, but the real relevance and likelyhood of it ever happening is fantasy-land stuff.

Whoever wins, I think the world will change forever. Expect an exodus from boxing into MMA as Cotto, Pacquiao and Mayweather look for new careers, any payday that doesn't involve getting in the ring with either of these two giants of the sport.

Mundine has as much of a chance of getting a shot against Cotto and Mayweather as the likes of 20a87 and that babbling ****ing gimp nobrains have of landing a job and getting laid!

It ain't happening for Mundine and it ain't happening for ESB's favourite duo of intellectual midgets!

Mundine will win in a shut out. be easier than the Medley fight for him. cant wait for the Wood fight, that will be a world ppv event!! oh hang on, it might not go ahead due to the "man" chasing Cotto....

Reckon our mate Ty might've copped a holiday too Sally. Perhaps a longer one than you got by the look of it.
