Not showing up for the presser breaks the contract/deal? Seriously?

Povetkin was just at the Tua-Barrett fight. So he can make that, but not his own press conference?

Povetkin has been avoiding Wlad for a long time, and it appears he's still trying to do so. Klitschko camp shouldn't have to carry all the risk of Povetkin pulling out....better to have someone lined up who will show up in the ring.

I do hope Povetkin shows up though.

I'd rather see Peter fight Wladimir anyway. Been a tough week for boxing fans.

He seemed fine on FNF too before this mysterious outbreak of 'Haye Fever' developed.

I'd rather see Povetkin, because he's a fighter Wladimir hasn't faced yet. Plus you have the Teddy Atlas angle (love to see Wlad shut him up by KO'ing Povetkin).

But if Povetkin does pull out, Peter would also be an interesting fight.

I don't think Peter is as good as he was in their first fight. His weight has been down recently, but he still looked slow and lethargic to me. I think gaining the weight, then losing it...combined with not training properly...it's affected him.

I believe Wladimir can KO Peter if they fight a rematch. It would be an interesting fight, that's for sure.

"Haye Fever" LOL, I've already seen that on the forum somewhere else. I think that's going to be around a long time! Anyone who ducks from now on has "Haye Fever".:lol:

Does anyone know why Povetkin didn't turn up?

There must be some kind of explanation/excuse from his camp?

Wlad doesn't look like a youngin' anymore. He's looking like the elder statesman of the division. Maybe it's just the stubble though.

Will Povetkin hide and back out of fight like Haye? Probably.
