I'm speaking off the cuff here but to my recollection we have no had anything in the past couple months besides glorified sparring sessions well promoted 1 sided affairs a bunch of trash talk with no action (battles @ 140 & floyd vs pac) you can't tell me that there were any good fights this summer that before the bell sounded you knew would be competitive & meaningful... most of the fights up to this point have been well marketed and thats it boxing is garbage right now :-x

Froch vs Abraham, Ward vs Dirrell, Montiel vs Donaire, JuanMa vs Rafael Marquez, Pascal vs Dawson (got my tickets), Linares vs Juarez, JMM vs Diaz II, Khan vs the winner of that fight probably, Pac vs Margarito/Cotto @154, Martinez vs Wililams II maybe. alot of other good fights i haven't thought of too.

Manny vs May was probably gonna be a stinker any way I think better matchups are availible Martinez Mayweather for another title in another weight is much more interesting against a slick fast opponent Pac vs a laundry list of 154 lb fighters for another belt in another class is also interesting I bet Pac vs Angulo would be more exciting then Manny vs May sport aint dying anytime soon
