I think Rushman is Chef. This guy has spent the last several pages defending how much Klitschko's self proclaimed chef and insider bench presses. Why the F should he even care?
Since you asked, here's a pic of CHEF This content is protected I really don't see what the problem is with the numbers given by CHEF....they seem realistic enough to me. I don't lift much myself (can't do to surgery), but I'm around people who do. Of course I'm sure one of the ESB resident "professional lifters" will tell me how those numbers can't possibly be true.
well wlad has wide shoulders and his arm length isn't long for his height,so he has very good physic for bench press also why is wlad doing sets with 20 reps, according to chef?that makes no sense :nut
He can do 225 x18 Then when he puts 50lbs more steel, his rep drops only by three 275 x15 :think And guy who lifts 275lbs 15 times has a max of 355lbs. He should be able to do way more. Also Wlads 275lbs x20 x3 lifting program sounds like bull****. If that is really hes pench program, he should hire a personal weight trainer, to help him to get useful lifting program. There is something very wrong with those numbers.
that is bollocks. i do sets of 10 at 100kg whch is 220 but my max is only 120 which is 14kg or 30lbs down on what i should be able to lift as a 1 lift max on that list
why should he hire a weight trainer??? if he has a program that works fine for him why change it. when was the last time he lost? weight training is not just about getting bigger and stronger. he is a boxer if he lifted to failure he could damage himself and not be able to box. his muscles are not tained for explosive power they have been developed over the years for endurance and sustined power. whats to say that the weight he is lifting for 20 reps which is 275lbs or 120kg for those not in america. there are 20 year old boys in my gym lifting 120kg for 10-15 an in nowhere near the shape that wlad is
I weigh 160bs and yesterday I benched 187lbs for 3 sets of 8. I wouldn't brag about my bench press to serious gym-goers. There are amateur bodybuilders who bench more than twice their bodyweight. I know his numbers are bigger, and benching proportionately slightly above your bodyweight is definitely very respectable, but 275 for 15 at 250lbs is by no means a feat of weightlifting. Yes, for a guy who probaby doesn't focus much on his bench press, Wlad's very strong, but the numbers themselves are, like I said, not particularly impressive.
