I think u underestimate Mr Peters

I think the whole revenge aspect of the fight would interest the casual fans

Thats an angle i think would work well

I don't know if there that many dopey people knocking about. The 'sports mad Irish public' might just not be mad enough. Its a nothing fight. If he wins big deal, if he loses it just hurts his reputation more. Depending on pricing (and I can't imagine Peters would make it cheap) I can't see how you'd sell 7-9,000 tickets for that.

Lads any of you interested in doing a fantasy football this year? We claim to know something about boxing but what about football? If it is worth doing will sort out a league.

    Tough debut for Trainor
20 July 2010 Perth based Irishman Declan Trainor faces a baptism of fire in his professional debut this Thursday as he clashes with former Australian amateur champion and Commonwealth game representative Jamie Bogavic in Sydney.
It is rare that two prospects are thrown together so early in their careers (Bogavic is 1-0 (1KO) yet those are cards that have been dealt and now both men have an opportunity to make their mark.
Speaking to irish-boxing.com ahead of the four round bout, Trainor acknowledged the quality of opponent he is facing but is confident of emerging victorious.
“Jamie Bogavic is a former Australian amateur champion and boxed in the Commonwealths – so he is going to be tough,” he said.
“But I believe I will win. The nerves haven’t kicked in yet – they probably will before the fight. I have been training twice a day and am feeling very fit.”
The bout will be Trainor’s first since suffering a fractured cheekbone in a semi-final victory in last year’s Ulster Senior championships. After such a long lay off it is understandable that he is raring to go.
“I’m really looking forward to getting back into the ring, to get the adrenaline rush again. My old injury isn’t bothering me anymore and I am ready for this match.”
The bout takes place on the undercard of IBO lightweight champion Leonardo Zappavigna’s, 23-0 (15KO) contest with Billy Sumba, 18-1-1 (4KO) at Assyrian Sports & Culture Club. The bill, which is being promoted by former World Champion Jeff Fenech, will be televised in Australia on Fox TV.
