Depends on how many takes they had to do, they may have been there all afternoon. :D

Golota's been in the US for 20 years now and his accent is still very thick.

I agree that boxers can't be judged by their Olympic performance alone. They can grow and develop their skills. But if you look at Lewis, or Haye at the Olympics they had that special something that Golota was clearly missing. And yes had Golota had one punch KO power he would've done a lot better in those major fights. Not only he'd been able to get Bowe out of there but Lewis and Tyson would have a lot more respect for him. All in all I became a boxing fan in the 90s after watching Golota fights so it's not that I don't like him. I guess I am trying to understand why he never accomplished greatness. And ultimately I feel it's because he lacked some physical and mental attributes. But all the arguments made by you guys are solid

Heard a very quiet rumour the other day that Bowe was jonesing to sign a three-fight deal to fight in Germany for Sauerland...and that they may agree so long as Bowe-Golota III was one of them...?

does anybody heard something about golota??? damn if golota wasnt mentally weak and slow he could beat most of the hw's. i miss the old golota..actually lewis found the blue print for beating golota, since then brewster knocked him out, mollo tried but lossed, then Ray austin did it en succeed.
IF and its a big if, if golota comes back he really needs a other trainer....

I really don't want to see Andrew fight again even against Bowe. Though I think that even at this point in his career he could still win.

Someone just told me they read an interview in Polish newspaper with Golota's wife. She said Andew wants one more 'goodbye' fight but only with another fighter around his age.

    I can dig that.

    :happy

I said it before, I'll say it again. Providing his arm is healed, Golota needs come down in weight and work on cardio. He could then fight even a better opponent than someone "his age".

I can't believe Golota came to fight Adamek out of shape with moobs! I remember he said he trained too hard for his previous fight against Austin but got injured, so his solution was to come in fat and out of shape??:patsch
