Briggs Weight Staged?

    Hear me Out before you Jump on me lol

    Before This ......Weight thing. Briggs and Green have seemed to be getting along very well, Could this Weight thing be a stunt to get more people to Buy this fight? Honestly, People are more likely to Buy this fight after seeing Danny talk trash about punishing him etc, rather then both respecting each other.

    I Also noticed in the weigh in Video, When Briggs got on the scales he seemed to be Smiling (From what i could see from the side of his face).

    Its unlikely, But is this possible in your eyes?

    Heat Between Fighters = Selling

    And there was very little if not ANY heat between the two before this weigh in.

    Just my Thoughts.

    hahah yeah thats a really good thought.

    If they were really smart, green would take a loss and set up a superfight rematch. That thing would sell like anything. There would seriously be a TON of interest if green lost and managed to some how blame it on the weight. It would be BIG.

    Interesting, and I've heard sillier ideas. But surely the organisation running the show, in this case IBO, wouldn't allow such a crap stunt.

    I reckon Briggsy was smirking on the scale too - and posted that somewhere this morning.

    Good point, but it seems like a soft way to gain attention for the fight, they would of been better off having an all-in Brawl at the weigh-in like Tyson-Lewis :D :bbb



    Now that would get the Australian public intrested lol

    This is not the case because if Green was throwing the fight they wld have a fortune on Briggs at those odds...... last i checked Briggs is now $9 to win and $29 to win by points......... no money for him meaning no setup at this stage

    I wouldn't be surprised now you say it. Anything goes in promotions these days. I hope not though........I actually thought Green looked really pissed at the weight thing but controversy always sells better doesn't it.
