Yeh, those cars are WAY Over priced, My dad once had a SLR 5000, Sun Burst Gold.

He sold it when i was born.....he Regrets it lol.

Since i was a kid ive always wanted a SLR, But looking at the price tag...its not a reality lol.

The price of Aussie Muscle cars over the last 10 years (particularly the last 5) have just gone berserk. Before that, while obviously special models ie genuine A9X's, Xu1's, Phase 111's etc were worth a bit, nowadays even decent replica's and regular models can be $40,000+ in great nik of course.

If Ashley's in the game of doing them up, then now's the time. Not like years ago where people would spend $25k and be lucky to get 10k back for them.

A mate of mine mentioned he was going to sell his XB Coupe for a block of land a few years back. I was thinking that $15,000 blocks were pretty hard to come by till I realised what he was asking.....
