    Jeff Lawson?

As for Toney, he has next to no chance of becoming a 2 sport world champ. He has a punchers chance of beating Couture at this stage if that. The fight is a farce and means **** all for either sport.

Oh yeah, I remember him now.

He was the one taking the **** out of the American chants by doing the "one, two, three...We Aren't Gay!"

It would be fair to say any top level boxer would expect to beat any top level MMA fighter in a stand up fight within their weight classes. The opposite would be true for when it went to ground.

However if Coutoure takes down Toney, it will be over quickly.

:lol:Tbh as far as TUF goes I quite enjoyed that season. There were some funny moments in there and the US vs UK thing worked out pretty well. Bisping proved himself to be a **** numerous times in the process. It's the last season I watched though because the show is shite as far as I'm concerned.

Not really. Theres more to a stand up fight than punching. For example in a striking match (i.e kicks, punches, knees, elbows all allowed), I would pick Anderson Silva over most boxers his weight.

Of course, this only applies to legit strikers within MMA; guys with a background in Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Karate etc. Any wrestlers, BJJ fighters etc then your spot on. But no MMA fan denies this. Or at least they shouldn't.

:lol:Do you enjoy them? Personally I just can't get into them. It's less about the fight and more about the drama, which they try to deliberately create anyway. That and the fact they have failed to produce any top prospects (which the show is supposedly about) in a while. Apart from maybe Ryan Bader they haven't produced anyone truly top notch fighters since the first couple of shows as far as I can remember.

They can be a bit hit and miss, and I really just watch them for the fights, well that and Dana's man-to-man talks with a bunch of guys who have gone a bit mad, after being locked up in a house together with no TV and a truck load of free alcohol.

I think there have been a few solid ones that have come through from the show after the first couple of seasons, but as you say no one really top-notch (we'll see how Bader pans out). I suppose Michael "The ****" Bisping isn't that bad. He was season 3, I think.

I love the way they put English subtitles up for him when he is getting interviewed before a fight. How insulting must that be?:yep

Fair enough. TBH I do get to see some of the fights. If someone on the show is good or there is a good fight then it usually comes up on some MMA blogs I follow so I see them anyway. I saw a few of Jamie Yager's fights this way.

'The ****'? I like it. He's proven himself to be a **** numerous times although yeah he does have a bit of talent and a place in the MW division. The Hendo KO was awesome. A lot of people dick on Hendo for the flying shot afterwards, but personally I ****ing loved it. Like superman!!! Even though I actually picked Bisping to win that fight, but we'll stay quiet on that one.:yep
