why is margorito being underestimated

he is shite.

he has no concrete left nor has he a chin.

this my stance until i see him beat a decent fighter.

 

Agree. He's being underestimated because he's easy to hit, and Pacquaio has been finding ways to KO most people he's faced recently.

Pac doesn't appear to have the one punch power Mosley has though. Mosley was throwing full power loopy bombs, which i can't see Pac throwing. If it is the iron chinned warrior that showed up against Cotto, Manny could be in for an uncomfortable night.

 

Margarito got minced out of it by Mosley and did not look good against Garcia

 

He's being underestimated because he's a cheat that doesn't deserve this opportunity. Had he not been exposed for what he is, no one on here would be having a problem with this matchup.

For those that think Pacquiao would grab the same result as Mosley, I wrote the following in another thread:

Pac hasn't got that bruteforce strength that Mosley had to put Margarito away. Mosley landed bombs to the body as well as the head, and would occasionally tie him up and drain his energy. That Margarito that was getting tossed around towards the end, was a tired Margarito. It was exhaustion more than anything which prevented him from getting up.

Pac won't be able to do this. Instead he'll hit and move. Margarito's chin isn't as cracked as everyone says it is, he'll still take Pac's punches very well. It'll be a looooooong night for Pac, especially at 154.

Because he was hyped and overrated so long especially on ESB. Margarito the basic teak tough Mexican brawler, short on technical prowess and high on tenacity and toughness. Margarito IMO has always been a B+ class fighter. His success was based alot on his advantages in size and reach, im not gonna go into the wraps. He should be recognized for what he is, a good action fighter, just not a great fighter

 

i think that's right and that could be enough to beat pacman, i reckon if he gets through the first couple of rounds he'll slowly break down pacman and stop him late. margarito will give him no space or time!! if the chin is still good he wins!!

 

Because this forum has a bunch of broken hearted girls on it that love to put Margarito down. (You know who you are...)

How anyone can hate on a fight that will deliver guranteed fireworks is beyond me.

I have to agree. I saw the fight on Youtube and he looked slower than usual and he was pushing his punches. Whether it was from being rusty and being out of the ring for so long or because he truly has declined is a fair observation. That's the worst I have ever seen him.

Not only that, but to me it seems as if all the punches have gotten to him. He talks as if he has a swollen tongue and seems to hesitate for a split second every now and then. If his friends and family can't see this then they must care more about the money than the dude himself.

 

The fight can be more interesting then most think.

Manny has that crazy good stamina.I think Manny can go the full twelve rounds moving and boxing his way to a unani.

I see Manny taking a unani victory over Margo because of the speed manny has with hand and feet.

The one big possitive factor i see for Margo is if the fight is at 154lbs.

Margo has to keep his guard up in that fight and cut the ring off to realy get in close with Manny,put his weight on him,tie him up and wear Manny down if possible.Simply make it a rough and tough fight.

If the fight is at 154lbs then it can be good for Margo,but i cant look away from the speed difference between the two men with hand and foot.

IMO i would rather see this fight match up with Margo and Manny than Cotto and Manny at this point.

Unani victory for Manny.I dont see Pac being able to KO Margo with one punch,but it can be possible for Manny to get Margo in trouble with combo punching and depending on the reff,a late round stoppage is a possibility.
