Hopefully Peter comes in at 235ish so this can be made a respectable fight. He just needs to do a similar job to Vitali, get this fight out of the way and then move on.

Povetkin would provide an interesting test and a great scalp but a Peter rematch will be good too

Peter is going to get bombed out fast and then why was he even in the ring with Vlad. Take on Solis. Peter is going to need more time to get it together.

Well, it is good Wlad won't have to do the 'promoters side worry' that Povetkin would be a no show again.... Let's concentrate on the fight at hand.

ok lets wait a second here! CHEF ?
Perhaps this could turn out good? Vitali has still nobody to fight!
perhaps poevetkin and atlas think they could reach a deal with vitali now
because they think this fight is more winnable!
Povetkin vs vitali way better than briggs or valuev!
Would be a good name for vitalis resume

Peter has never been bombed out fast and Wlad has been going into deeper waters every fight

Peter will probably lose worse seeing as Wlad will be less jittery and panicy as the first fight he will be more settled get the jab in and dominate. I agree its not going 12 but Peter may have learned something

in 05 he was undefeated green untested

now he has Wlad Vitaly Maskaev and Toney on his list of fights he has learned alot and is now a veteran back in shape without the 0 with nothing to lose

    THIS IS PETERS LAST CHANCE

I figure he will fight with more guts than Povetkin would

He hasn't had a meaningful win in quite a while. The truth is not many of the top fighters have. Haye beating Valuev was significant, Adamek beating Arreola was significant. Povetkin, Chagaev and Chambers haven't had a good win in ages

    1. Wlad
    2. Vitali
    3. Adamek
    4. Haye
    5. Barrett
6-10. Some other so called fighters

Peter will not get bombed out fast. He will take a beating and either quit or get knocked out late in the fight.

Like I said... It doesnt sound like its Povetkin... it sounds like its his team. manager, trainer, and promoter seem to all be on different pages as to what direction to go in

pov may have been brought some unexpected turn in there but peter is hopeless plodder. i don't expect him do nothing but feed on long vlad's jab and occasionall playing charging rhino when he gets annoyed with jab
