from what I understand (might be more to the story) povetkin still hadent signed (must sign in 15 days after purse bid) and didnt show to presser nor did a representative for Povetkin. Everyone is afraid of the writing on the wall here that the fight will not come off.

Team Povetkin seems to be at odds on what to do (according to wlad) they were coming to the presser, they were not coming, they signed, they didnt sign, they are gonna sign... so the IBF had had enough and pulled the #1 from him... its been 2 years already.

I think Peter is a much greater challenge at this point, not saying Peter is the ultimate challenge but a far greater challenge than Povetkin. This dude is a trip, what the **** is he doing seriously?

He has more of a puncher's chance than Povetkin, but that doesn't necessarily make him a far greater challenge. Especially when you consider that his puncher's chance didn't get the job done before Wlad had morphed into a defensively siege-proof fighter.
