Why would they when they fill ****ing stadiums over there? HBO made it clear nobody here really gives a **** about the Klits. better for them to inspire their countrymen instead of wasting their time on an inattentive, uninterested audience.

Wow. Whole lotta good news in this thread.

    So it's official?
    Povetkin chickened out?
    Peter stepping in?
    I'll take that.
A Povetkin win doesn't do much for the Klitschko resume, while a Wlad KO over Peter looks a little better.
Not to mention I really can't see that beast Peter backing out. He might not be able to fight at Wlad's level, but he aint scared of shiit.

And ESPN is gonna show this. WOW. Teddy Atlas has gotta be right there watching the whole time knowing his boy is in the audience wishing he had the nuts to step in there.
    And HBO. SCREW YOU.
I've spent thousands of bucks on your rerunning ***gy miniseries and worn out old movies for boxing. And for the last 11 years, for Klitschko boxing.
I'm officially done with HBO. And **** off because I hated the stupid ending to deadwood too. I outta sue for that bullshiit.

It HBOs fault boxing is dead in america. Hello, it's called advertisement. Show your ****ing product.

They got all the top guys, and then never let the world in general know what the hell is going on.
At least ESPN will advertise this, and bring some attention to it. And the Peter being black and qualified will give some of homies here in the states something to talk about in their barberchairs and cellblocks.

I hope this starts a trend. Could do the sport some good.

    Klitscko TKO9 Peter

Peter knocked Klit down three times when they lost fought. I guess Wlad is ready for payback time. And Peter thinks he can win this time. Good rivalry.

Don't need that **** when he has CHEF looking after his nutritional needs. :bart

CHEF. Does Sam just 'step in' to the old contract? No new purse bid, etc?

So it's going to be in Germany, but aired on ESPN...:huh

They're going to pre-empt the midafternoon edition of SportsCenter or Women's High School Lacrosse for a mere boxing match?

Excuse me, are there any airborne swine out anybody else's window?

I still cannot believe that Povetkin is such a fraud. If he´s scared to fight the best, he should leave boxing. I can understand a guy like Haye who is doing all he can to make the event really really big to get the most money than can be made. But Povetkin is not in that category, he simply does not have the charisma Haye has. He can´t make the fight bigger than now.

The last time Peter fought in Germany he claimed the Krauts gassed him. True story no joke intended.

He claimed they pumped some diluted neurotoxin through the vent in his hotel room the night before the fight. LOL...
