My take is that Briggs knows he has brain damage and could get seriously hurt by taking more punishment. He basically ripped everyone off by coming back for this fight with the basic intention of cashing in and going down from the first punch that halfway landed on his head in an effort to avoid actually getting hurt.

  5. super slow motion footage of the punch (about 2:10)

Danny Green is just a farce as that dive by Briggs.
This fight shouldnt of even taken place, why not fight some TOP DOGS in this division like Wlodarczyk or Huck or hell.....even Enzo Maccarinelli would of been a great choice for the cherry pickin Green.

That post fight interview was a joke.........the man is a ham.

On that interview alone I would like to see Green taking a beating.

As for the KO........well for me it had to be a dive. The jab barely clipped the top of his head. I read on another site that Green is up to his neck in gangs who are calling the shots.

My next bet is Green KO1 although can you ever trust an arrogent Aussie to follow instructions.

Having watched that video I thought Green looked guilty when asked whose fault it was that the fight was a joke. He was defensive and didn't know what to say. When the interview changed the subject and asked him if he was gutted you could see the relief on his face and he started smiling even though he was trying to explain he was gutted.

I've been watching 'Lie To Me'. :admin

All the hamming it up in the interview after the fight was strange and looked very acted. As someone said it was like WWE.

I know it is no help to this the day after.

My personal opinion is that Paul Briggs is a very unwell man. Pschologically and physically.

It is not the best outcome but for his credibility - i am finding this very hard to take

It seems there are two likely scenarios:

    1) Green and Briggs fixed the fight and Briggs panicked and went down to a non-punch.

    2) Briggs wanted one last pay day but didn't want to actually fight for it so fell over at the first opportunity.

I'm convinced there was skullduggery going on and my gut feeling from the interviews is Green was in on it.

I got the same read on him.

Also when Briggs went down, you could see the look on Green's face in the corner as though he were saying "no no no...you're doing it wrong you bloody idiot"
