For some reason I actually don't mind the idea of this fight, but I see Peter getting badly hurt.

Terrible fight. Without the illegal shots, Klitschko would have nearly shut out prime Peter. What's the point in a rematch? He clearly isn't a top level fighter any more. An easy Klitschko win.

    Nope.
    Nope.
...and nope, but for some reason people are eager as hell to jump the gun on this one.

The IBF still haven't said **** about all this. People are just speaking for him.

I don't know why people aren't just waiting to see what'll happen. They're going on rumour, scuttlebutt and suggestion.

I'm not even a Povetkin fan, I think he's made a waste of his career since the Chambers win and he'll get thumped, but let's wait for him and the IBF to make their own statements on this.

Given all the 'vasaline', 'man in green' and 'FBI must investigate' stuff from Wladimir/Brewster I, I wouldn't have thought this would be a glass house to be throwing stones from.

Didn't CHEF say K2 had received notice from the IBF that Povetkin was removed as #1....that's not rumor, scuttlebutt, or suggestion.

That QUITTER couldn't and didn't want to be "The Man" so he went to Miami to hide under Wade's shadow.

As late replacements go I suppose this is ok, though I'd rather have seen Wlad-Povetkin. I haven't kept up to date with this whole saga, so I'm not really sure why it's fallen through - seems like a bit of a shambles.

Wlad has improved since the first Peter fight and Peter seems to have gone downhill. I think this time Wlad will dominate him to the point where it makes their first meeting look competative.

Peter replacing Povetkin seems to be happening quickly. Its hard to tell what is really going on but it would be a shame if Povetkin didn't get the fight. It was one of the few heavyweight fights that I was interested in.Until something official is out I assume Povetkin is still fighting Wlad.

Wlad-Peter isn't a bad fight but Wlad is going to beat him to death and already beat him once to begin with, Povetkin has a better shot than Peter. I like Peter and he seems to be one of the top guys who is actually willing to get in the ring with a Klitschko right now but I don't think he can beat Wlad. I'm not sure where this will leave Povetkin but Wlad has wasted a lot of time with Haye and I can't blame him for not wanting to mess around if Povetkin isn't serious about taking the fight.

Wlad has improved greatly since that fight and Peter has gotten so bad he has been forced to fight guys like Gabe Brown.

Wlad is going to beat Peter to a pulp I would not be shocked at a stoppage here or a quittage by Peter. :deal

Good to hear, I wonder what happened to Povetkin though, that was a fight I was really looking forward to.

We know the hook can hurt Peter, and we know Wlad has a really powerful hook, I would not be surprised if it ended Sam's night.
