Look either it was a Dive or Briggs had serious medical issues and shouldn't have been in the ring

Either way it's a criminal act

The punch was at a level a 10 year girl would handle, any every pro combat athlete should have been able to shrug it off as nothing because that's what it was, nothing

Well it MUST have been the gunman on the grassy knoll that felled Briggs because as sure as **** stinks no punch Danny Green threw in that fight did ,

Ippy you know enough about the sport to have seen and read about these "phantom punch" fights from as far back as Clay /Liston 2 (if not even futher) to know what occured last night , for whatever reason Paul Briggs didn't have the heart or desire to take a beating off the likes of Danny Green and looked for the fast option out of "Town Beatdown" and no one without any connection to Paul can tell me any different . BRIGGS DIVED FOR BRIGGS imo

Good luck to Paul Briggs in whatever he decides to spend his money on because he ain't spending any of mine, thanks for the career .

As for Danny Green ? well that cat needs to stop with the bull**** and retire before his legecy is also shot beyond repair .

you seen the punch in slow mo?

Last night I was dead set certain it was a dive and told everyone at work today it was. Then i watched the slow mo and how his head got twisted and him trying to get up.

Then i coupled this with who it was Paul Briggs.

Exactly why i believe he didnt take a dive.Just one of those cases of witnessing a completely shot fighter.

I can never be too hard on any bloke that steps in the ring..I know fromown fights that it aint a tickling contest..I remember when i was a teen and had first serious sparring session and couldnt believe how much my head hurt for 3days straight.Obviously the bod gets used to it to a extent but man the melon aint made to be smashed like briggsy put it through in just those two Adamek fights alone.

All i saw in slow mo about a thousand times now is one speculative pulled jab tap Paul just above the waist band and a soft jab to Pauls forehead , i hate seeing warriors like Paul HAVE to fight and make ****s of themselves in doing so , Briggs legacy sits fine with this fan and his rep is intact as far as i'm concerned but please stop trying to legitimise the ending to that fight because it's bull**** not to mention insulting to sell it any other way , he came back for money and got out PRONTO lads .

Serious though Teke i was spewing seeing Briggsy go out like that it looked like something from a Rocky story ( Obviously without the blows ) ,what a servant to the sport this bloke was from a young age ? anyway NOTHING can take the Adamek fights away from him and at the end of the day most hard core fans will link his name with fights like that instead of recent events, at the end of the day today's newspaper headlines are tomorrows chip wrappers and all that .
