Next to Williams who is obviously better than Cotto? Cotto is legit.

cotto vs may would be a good fight. I would pay to see my boy cotto smash mayweather's liver.

cotto needs another big fight his last one wasnt very competitive, still took cotto too long to finish off foreman, he fights like that it becomes a typical mayweather win: great show of defense some potshotting followed by a decision win. cotto can land that left hook behind the elbow, only way he does is with lots of pressure.

Cotto would have had a great chance prior to the probably illegal beatdown he took for Hands of Plaster Margarito. Now, he get busted up whether at 154 or 147. He wasn't that very fast pre-Margarito and was fairly average in speed against Foreman. Foreman was Cotto's Malignaggi (again), a game fighter with no pop would had a chance to outbox Cotto, but Cotto's power stopped that cold.

Floyd has power, though nowhere near Pacman's, and no one questions his immense boxing skill. I would be shocked if Floyd stopped him, but Cotto would have to really turn back time (which he almost certainly won't) to even get a close decision over Mayweather. Look for a wide UD for Money, and don't spend your actually money to see it.

    November 2007: Cotto decisions Mosley.
    December 2007: Mayweather KO's Hatton.

    Then it should have been:

June 2008: Undefeated welterweight unification fight.

I wanted it then, not so much now. At least Cotto's a more live opponent than Matthew Hatton

It's a win/win for me if he faces Cotto because I'm a fan of Shane, Cotto, and Mayweather. Well even if he fought Pacquiao, I'm a fan of Pac too.

in defense of floyd, people accuse him of ducking, not the other way around, in other words, fighters try to get fights with floyd, he really doesnt look for fights

    #1) Fight not gonna happen.

#2) If by some miracle it does, Mayweather wins by UD or if he tries to box offensivley, late tko

Williams, Pacquia... If the fight is at 154, than Martinez is better. Only because of the wars Cotto has been in, I think May is at it again. Fooling people. He knows, along with his team, that Cotto doesn't have much left.

Let me ask you this. Who would you pick; Cotto vs. Martinez 154, Cotto vs. Williams 147 or 154? We already know Cotto vs Pac.

So if Cotto loses all of these fights, and most likely all by ko, why does he deserve a shot at the so called best fighter in the world?
