This is pretty much the same as asking if anyone on this board has down syndrome... Who could be a fan of Haye at this point?
Time will tell if Hayes really a coward or not maybe he wants to have another fight before facing klitschko or maybe hes just plain ducking him.
Nothing wrong with being a fan of a lower level fighter. Heck, I always like Jeremy Williams and James Thunder. Both would KO Haye, but wth. Still don't have to dislike the cowar, oops, I meant guy.
Jeremy williams and james thunder would not beat Haye.Haye would beat both of them easy lol htey wouldnt stand a chance
I've never been an actual fan, I don't really like or care about heavyweight boxing, but I've always liked Haye, and I still do. Despite his many flaws as a fighter, he is by far the most watchable heavyweight out there and does possess some formidable weaponry, so I like watching him on the rare occasion I watch heavyweight boxing. Plus he is an articulate and likeable guy when he's not purposefully trying to get attention in order to further his career, in interviews I think he seems like an intelligent, good guy. I believe he'll fight a Klitschko eventually, he's just trying to make the cash to secure his future before he takes the almighty risk of fighting a guy with insane size advantages over him. Haye isn't like Mayweather or Pacquiao or Cotto, he hasn't been drawing big ppv crowds in the US or filling out stadiums, he has to make some fast cash on his heavyweight belt while he still can, and I believe that's what he's doing at the moment. If he avoids facing a Klitschko too long, of course I'll turn on him, he MUST fight one of them eventually or his heavyweight campaign has been a sham and a fraud. But, I will very much enjoy watching him obliterate the biggest and most pathetic joke in heavyweight history, Audley Harrison, and then I feel confident he will meet Wlad, and that's all we can ask of him. Haye delaying facing a Klitschko is not the same as Floyd pussying out of meeting Pacquiao, for instance. Mayweather and Pacquiao are global household names who have been on a high-profile collision course for a long time - there is absolutely no point for either man to delay, and it is only to the detriment of the sport that the fight hasn't been signed yet. But what exactly are Haye's hw credentials at this point? Bonin, Barrett, Valuev, Ruiz? He is not a legitimate, world-class proven hw yet in my opinion, despite the belt. I think it's OK for him to take a little more time before going in with a top level veteran like Wlad.
