Mayweather vs Cotto!!!

Cotto Vs Floyd makes a lot of sense. Cotto has been going down the hill in his last few fights. I am not fooled by his perfomance against Foreman. And we all know Floyd love to fight fighters when they on their way down the hill. But its ok. It will be good money for Cotto even if he losses. He will retire happy.

 

Miguel is one of the biggest fan favorites in boxing.

Mayweather is one of the biggest villains.

This fight makes a ton of sense.

 

Why? Pac already accepted to take a lot more test than required by any organization. And still Floyd ran away/

 

and you expect mayweather to stop cotto through potshotting?

 

I am a Cotto fan. And I ****ing hate Floyd. But only when he is allowed to talk, not when he is in the ring. At one point, Cotto had a good chance of beating Floyd, but the Cotto I have seen lately will make Floyd look like Superman.

 

So, let's say this fight happens. Now you have Mosley AND Cotto who were ready and willing to do USADA testing. The funny part is that they did it, got the payday of their careers in fights they had no way of winning, and set up sweet revenge against Pac.

Dude if all of these fighters take USADA testing? Pac looks dumb if he won't. More importantly he looks dirty. He will continue to set himself up. Why? Because if he finally does it and comes in fat and/or sloppy? The world WILL take notice.

 

Some people are talking **** about Pac maybe fighting Cotto, but somehow it's a good fight for Mayweather?

 

Styles make fights...

Boxer/puncher with probably the best jab behind Wlad vs a master boxer.

I would love to see it.

 

One more thing before I go. If I was Cotto's trainer I have Cotto move to his right and throw nothing but left hooks to Floyd's shoulder. Hit that shoulder untl he cant lift the arm anymore. That is his only chance. Destroy that shoulder like he did against Urkal. If its not enough to win, it might be enough to push Floyd towards retirement after the fight.

 

Cotto is an extremely fast fighter whom I think can match PBF in terms of speed. Cotto matter of fact outsped Pac on few occassion on the early goings.

Cotto lost to 2 fighters, Margo and Pac and they both have to beat up Cotto to slow him down. PBF will not beat up Cotto. All he will do is potshot here and there and that will not slow Cotto down like he did against margo and Pac.

i would suspect cotto would be more than willing to take the tests, being that he is easy to deal with, and seeing his history, would probably feel comfortable making sure the fight was taking place on even ground

Because Manny has already dismantled Cotto, Floyd hasn't.

It's a much safer fight for Cotto too, aside from losing a one sided decision. He won't have to worry about being stopped for a 3rd time.
