Haye has been as elusive as bigfoot right now, he prob just wants to make sure Wlad has an official fight and then call him a coward for ducking him and talk about how badly he wanted to fight him.
I'm a disillusioned Haye fan. I like the guy, I like his fights. I was very enthusiastic when he came on the heavyweight scene, but his failure to back up his big words really turned me off. If Haye ever mans up and does what he said he would do, I'll still root for him.
How can you say he is not like Mayweather after stalking the Klitschko's and calling them out? In all sports you are expected to back up what you say, ESPECIALLY in boxing. He called them out. Greatly disrespected them. Now he has turned tail. This is MUCH WORSE than Mayweather.
I am tired of Haye fans being singled out here and systematically being attempted to be embarressed!!! These guys are malicious, they try and take people out and end their interntet boxing posting careers!! Having the feeling like I am alone in the desert sending out smoke signals waiting for the next Haye fan to stop by gets real old!!! Do you got that?
It's your fault for not holding him accountable. Same as with hardcore mayweather fans. If you stand by and let them pull this type of bull****, then they don't feel accountable "oh well, my fans still like me" He made a shirt with him decapitating the guys, then turned down a 50-50 contract he didn't even deserve.
Don't give me that. You guys make it seem as though David Haye isnt allowed to have any fans at all. Most of the Haye fans have been shoehorned out of town!! I look back and all I see is a huge dust cloud from them all bailing at once.
We will see when he fights Harrison how many fans he has left. He is banking on making bank on this fight.
For a fighter to be "the most watchable" as you say, he should getinto an actual boxing ring more often...what is watchable about a fighter who bails out of four fights in one year, as Haye did in 2009 (Johnson, Rahman, Klitschkos)? His performance against Valuev was just as boring as Wlad against Iggy. What makes some of Haye's fights exciting is his sloppiness. Against opponents like Fragomeni, Mormeck or Barrett, who were totally overmatched in terms of talent and athleticism, there were competitve moments because Haye is brilliant in one moment and sloppy and uncontrolled in the next moment. I wonder why people have so much appreciation for flaws in an athlete and find a perfectly tunes fighter like Wlad boring. I personally like to see a fighter like Wlad, Mayweather etc. who doesn't give away anything.
