I've been hearing this since 1.5 years. * "Oh time will tell, I think he will go box the Klits right after Valuev". * "Oh time will tell he will box them right after his mandatory Ruiz". * And now "Oh time will tell, I think he just wants a payday against Harrison and then he will box the Klits next".
How is he really much Diff to Mayweather?, Proclaims himself the best yet wont prove it by fighting the fight that would prove him right/wrong, also seems happy to go ages between fights.
Exciting? Boxing old men that pose no threat, running your mouth without following up on it and being highly inactive as a boxer is not exciting. I believe the right wording would be that Haye is able to generate a lot of emotions within the boxing fan community but he is far from exciting. Exciting would be if he boxed three times a year like clockwork. Exciting would be if he went through all the current champs and top contenders. Exciting would be if he went on a mission to bring heavyweight boxing back to the headlines around the globe, including the US. Instead all we hear is how a prime Haye needs rest and is relaxing after boxing an over-the-hill 38 year old Ruiz, how he's spending time with his family, how he is in no hurry whatsoever picking and announcing his next opponent, how he views money as his prime objective rather than writing boxing history, how he has no plans to box in the US any time soon and how he is contemplating retirement in 15 months time. That is not exciting, it is disgraceful. Haye is to boxing what people like Lindsay Lohan are to Hollywood. Rather irrelevant to the actual art but generating a lot of outside attention and emotion outside of their profession.
You mean you're hoping Vitali will box Haye in a deal where Haye gets more money than Vitali -- like Haye demanded from Wlad? As much as I'd love to see that fight I fear it may be wishful thinking to assume Vitali will accept less than 50%.
no i refer to his agreement with wlad that wlad can fight him first. anyways it should be different with vitali, he is a draw over here after lewis and williams, so 100% uk money wouldnt work. nor would it be justifiable since vitali is by far the more famous brother over here.
im a fan of haye when he is in the ring, but his silence is pissing people off after all the hype he created...
why are the klits so desperate to fight such low level guys? are these bitches ever gonna step up in competition?
Hayemaker express still going strong here just waiting for Klitschko sisters to man up and face the savior of heavyweight boxing! :happy
I'll watch Haye's next fight and want him to win. He's exciting, explosive and entertains. But he's not what he said he was.
I still like him purely because i am British and it's exciting to have a Brit with a genuine chance in the heavyweight division. I have and always will support British boxers when taking on the world, it's down to simple national loyalty. I understand completely why everyone else and their dog dislikes him, if he wasn't British i probably wouldn't like him either!
Not a massive fan, but I enjoy watching him...and he is easily the most exciting Heavyweight out there at the minute (when he's in the ring).
Well, until you wet yourself after being floored by the first jab and tried to hide behind the referee, then the crowd might turn on you a bit...
