If briggs did take a dive...you'd think he'd wait until it looked legit

That's what bugs me here....Briggs isn't a chump, so why then take a dive off a glancing jab?

Why not wait till a more substantial/less controversial shot is landed.

Weird how you would torch an entire career that way....

If your gut is that fat you go down off the body shot....briggs did well to last 2 punches.

aparently briggs has a history of 'fighting under the influence' of 'feelgood substances'........after partying for months. remember hes also had a 3 year party time.

he once layed down when larl zada punched him in the shoulder. paul was working as a DJ at the time......

Hmmmmm, your points about him thinking it may well have looked a lot bigger are a real possibility. Unfortunately we will never know whether it was a dive unless a betting conspiracy connecting him is uncovered.
Of course, (even if no betting conspiracy did happen) that doesn't necessarily mean a dive didn't take place, after all he may have shat himself in there and thought, to hell with all of this, I've got me money i'm heading home.

My gut feeling is he did this, he said I'm not getting hit by this bloke and laid down, but then I look at the betting and I change my mind. Money talks but why risk his payday maybe his head is just not right.
