I've always thought this fight would be a mismatch even back when Miguel was undefeated. He's just too slow for Floyd who would pick him apart easily.
I doubt this fight happens but if it did its better than Mayweather doing nothing for the rest of the year. Mayweather would win by a very wide decision. Pacqauio-Margarito and Mayweather-Cotto are both a step or two down from the fight that should be happening Mayweather-Pacquaio.
i dont want to see this! taht would be a typical mayweather move! Cotto is still good fighter but not the same he once was! Mayweather knows this and wants this fight!
if you thought PAC sliced and diced cotto just imagine what floyd would do. come on guys, this fight would be stupid, Cotto would just plod forward with his hands at the side of his head, like alwyas, and get uppercut to death. Cottos broke and nobody can fix him now between the loses and Jose's death. sad, but the kids done.
Cotto still has that thudding heavy jab. I still say this will be a good fight. Even roger stated cotto was half-way decent skillwise.
