Realistically though, he isn't. He'll sell tickets, sell PPVs, appear on fluff shows like Soccer AM, show his face in The Sun and The Mirror and make plenty of money.

You cannot have a fight in wembley unless its May-September though.

If Adameck fights end of August he can be out again for December 11th. Goldenboy can do a Haye UK/Khan US PPV and rake in the dosh. Sounds like a good night to me and Haye vs Adameck can be shown as part of the HBO undercard.

Yep, if things can be taken at face value then you can't blame the Klits for the fight not coming off. I understand why Haye is doing what he's doing but that does'nt mean I particulary like it.

:huhYou're backing up my point that Haye doesn't care about legacy and 'warrior pride' and just cares about money. I AGREE WITH YOU:good

Hopefully if Haye fights Harrison a Klit fight can be sorted out for sometime 2011 and we'll all look back on this and wonder what all the fuss was about over Haye wanting to take an easy money earner before a big unification fight.

    Hopefully......;o)

No doubt an Adamek fight brings more mine to the table! It brings the polish contingent in London into the mix, as well as fans across the pond. As far as I'm aware, Audley Harrison doesn't have a fanbase, so he adds very little into the mix.

Sure some general sports fans might be interested in an all British heavyweight fight, but that in no way compares with the money that Adamek's fans (both in
    Poland and the US) bring.

For me, Harrison isn't even a money option, as Haye could make more money with a fight with both Klits, Adamek and arguably Povetkin. Harrison for
me is the complete safe option. Nothing else.

Audley has no fanbase. 90 tickets he sold for the Sprott fight. The reason Barker ended up on that bill is becasue all the poles returned there tickets and they were ****ed. Evangerlou and Barker sold the place.

Also Khan was getting 6million on ITV but couldnt get 30,000 on boxing office. Free tv viewers doesnt always equate to big ppv seller.

    Prediction:

When this gets going it'll sell out at the gate and get more UK PPVs than either of Hayes last 2 fights.

Nah, even a lot of casuals I know have said its a **** fight.

I think Sky/Haye are banking on ignorant casuals not realising that Audley isn't ****. Thing is, EVERYONE knows he's ****.

When I went to Haye-Ruiz I got the impression it wasn't about the fight for a lot of people there. It was an event, a night out. Haye looks to have crossed over in popularity and with Skys PR down your throat every 10 minutes and Harrisons flapping gums I think the fight will do very well.

Never underestimate the power of being on Sky Sports News.

I remember I was shocked when Wlad/Haye was signed, and then cancelled and nobody seemed to notice. If you're not on Sky you might as well not be fighting.
