I've been wanting to see this bout for a long time...pity it's a little late. After seeing what Pacquiao did to him with his speed, I expect the same from Mayweather. Good bout, nothing on Mayweather v Pacquiao though.

Are we just going to see Mayweather and Pacquiao keep taking on different opposition, opposition the other has already beaten...before we see these two in the ring together. So Mayweather may take on Cotto in 2011, is that his one bout for the year?

People, Floyd hasn't been aggressive in awhile and the reason Pacquiao beat Cotto because Pacuiao is a very aggressive fighter. For Christ's sake Floyd couldn't even stop a bloated Marquez. Not saying Floyd couldn't stop Cotto just saying it won't be as bad as Pacquiao/Cotto unless Floyd does what he did to Gatti(RIP) but I don't see that happening. It will be a good fight but Floyd should come out on top. The thing is, Floyd is always the favorite in h2h matchups but he hasn't had the balls to take the fights to prove to people he takes risks. He coulda shoulda woulda fought Cotto in 07/08 but he didn't. I give him props for facing DLH, Judah, and Mosley but he could've fought Williams, Pacquiao, and Cotto.

 

He is 41-0, dip****. He must be doing something outside of winning "fantasy matchups".

If you truly feel that Cotto represents a legitimate challenge to Floyd at this point in their careers, I suggest you find another sport to follow. "But Cotto has a great jab"

I like Cotto but he has looked like **** in 3 of his last 4 fights and the one decent performance was against an average fighter.

If Cotto can survive the full 12, it will be a shutout.

 

Mayweather was very aggressive against Mosley, thats the most aggression I have seen from him in years.

Well yeah but not Pacquiao-aggressive. I was saying Mayweather would have to be more aggressive if he wanted to stop Cotto if they fought. Even against Mosley he wasn't being all out aggressive he fought a controlled fight pacing himself most of the time and outhinking him.

 

If this fight was made, How many PPV's do you think it would do?
