    Floyd being silent throughout the whole thing sounds like a setup. If he doesn't want the fight he can simply lie about what happened. I wouldn't put it above him to lie to make himself look good.

    2 years ago i was clamouring for this fight, At the time this was the fight that should have been made, now it would be to one-sided Cotto is shot and Mayweather just needs to fight Pacquiao.

    I think the fight lost is luster given Cotto's loss to Margarito and Pacquiao. The whole both being undefeated thing made the fight more special but its still a fight worthy of happening.

    I personally thought Cotto should fight Berto. He's a softer touch than Floyd but still a good enough fighter than a win can but him back to the forefront of the game. The Foreman fight didn't convince Cotto's naysayers.

    If this mayweather vs cotto happens, I would have to say that mayweather and his handlers have to be the smartest people in the boxing game. Mayweather will be countering everything Bob arum does. Mayweather vs Cotto, at 154 is way better than pc and margarito at 147.
