NO indication that he even tried to talk to Vitali once Wlad made an offer. Booth and Bunce have lied about negotiations, this has pretty much been born out and we have CHEF saying there were no negotiations that he knew of with Vitali/Haye. Haye would find another excuse. The TV money was a farce. Wlad has a contract with RTL? and ARD wasn't going to offer more money. Remember, they simply stopped answering the phone during negotiations. Their plans was/is to fight Harrison. Bunce was even running cover for it on his last show. Get ready for it. :yep

But, I believe Haye has a valid reason for delaying, whereas Floyd does not. Also, I believe Haye will eventually fight a Klit, whereas I don't believe Floyd will ever fight Manny. Different scenarios entirely.

Haye has had one soporific fight that I've seen, and that was Valuev. No excuses, that was a flat-out terrible fight.

However, Wladimir has had Ibragimov, Tony Thompson, Rahman, Chambers, etc etc etc... :dead

I don't understand how you can align Wlad with Mayweather. Mayweather can do almost anything, can fight on the back or the front foot, can fight on the ropes, can fight inside, can fight on the move/outside, etc. All Wlad does is the same rehearsed punching sequence again and again and again and again....

He is the most boring and tedious fighter I've ever seen. I'm not doubting for a single second how effective he is, he's pretty brilliant at what he does, but watching a giant prod a far smaller man into submission for what feels like hours is not good boxing to me. For all Haye's flaws, his arsenal is pretty special. He can throw jabs, hooks, uppercuts, combinations all with speed and devastating effect. He is eminently more watchable than Wlad, no question about it.

I'm a David Haye. Win, lose, run scared from both K2brothers back to the crusierweight division I don't care. They guy is entertaining even if he comes across as the villian. The majority of his fights have been exciting. He is the most marketable Heayweight their is right now.

im not getting into wlad/haye it is a boring topic.

vitali wont fight haye until wlad does, they have that bet/deal. i wish it werent the case as it is the fight which makes the most sense.

    maybe next year eh?

I still am. I don't care if he fights audley next as long as he fights a klit after. Why begrudge the man a payday? He should make as much as he can before he retires and we all know haye/harrison will make massive £

I'm a fan, and his style great to watch (for a heavyweight). I don't expect him to fight a Klit next but would be pissed if he fought Fraudley.

As far as exciting goes, next to the Klitschkos Haye looks like Mike Tyson.

K2 only tried to make Wladamir vs Haye. Vitali was never an option for Haye. I am not saying he would of taken that fight, he probably wouldn't, but it has not been and option in 2010.

Did Haye try to make the fight with Vitali? Any source? I'm assuming after yesterday you won't be using Dunce?

Is anyone else struck by the irony of Hermit telling the fans of a particular fighter that their fighter has lost credibility?

Well, let's start off easy. Why didn't you quote the post in this thread where I said that? :huh

    Maybe because I didn't?

whats more, i think there is much more money behind Wlad/Haye than Vit/Haye so that Klits prefer this fight happen first as they probably dont believe in loosing. Thats why without a rematch in mind which could be more profitable tho, there is no sense to organise a fight which provides less income as a first.
