Are you aware that as you grow older your body grows too? I have a hard time going back down to the weight i used to be back when i was in high school.

of course you can. the reasons why floyd and manny were successful moving up are.. they are still hungry and disciplined. most fighters move coz they don't have the same discipline anymore, they are not hungry, they don't wake up at 5am to jog, they lose interest in fighting and they are not focus anymore. Most fighters move up coz they couldn't maintain their weight coz of lack of discipline.

 

It's notmal for a child to grow into a man if thats what you mean. I think Mannys limit is 147 though, getting a title at 154 would be pretty risky he's already pretty small at Welter

in another erea he wouldve been stuck at 135 but he right now boxing is not in a good state talent wise.. besides he hasnt beaten any great fighters at 140 or above
