Berto hand speed and good pop makes this a very dangerous fight for Cotto.

It's amazing how far Cotto's stock has fallen, even with a superb record. I don't think he's completely finished, but I still think he's better than a lot of guys out fighting now. Berto doesn't seem to be as polished as he should be this far in the game, but I think he could have what it takes to win the fight. I think Cotto has better stamina, and maybe a little more power, but Berto def has speed, and is probably a better boxer than Cotto. Either way, at least in the fall we will have at least 1 respectable fight; not that Pacman/Margarito nonsense.

 

really hope it actually happens. this fight needs to be made. berto the master of the hit and hold vs. cotto the master of hit and run (haha). no way does cotto run from berto though.

I think if this happens Cotto takes it via late TKO...his timing on speedsters is just perfect and he'll hav Berto figured out in the 1st/2nd round imo
