Anyone else Happy For Manny/Margarito?

It won't be positive for the fight.

It'll be completely disassociated from the individual fighters and will address the economics and match making in fights.

Don't assume i'm just going to say "margarito cheated"

It's directed at boxing fans, not pacquiao or marg fans who order their **** anyway.

 

Anyone who thinks Pacquiao-Margarito is going to be a tough fight for Manny doesn't know anything about boxing. Margarito is shot. Period. Shane Mosley schooled him easily and KO him out.

The truth is Margarito without his plaster isn't nowhere near Manny level. Pacquiao will school him easily and KO him in 4 rounds.

Considering both fighters' styles and the fact Pac is going up to 154 (it would be interesting how he looks there), it will most likely be an exciting fight. But at the same time I'm not happy that Margarito is getting a good pay day.

 

I would definitely watch this. I'm really disappointed that it was not Floyd but the guy took a vacation and that Manny has to move on. He keep saying he wants to fight in November and Floyd is number one priority.

I've been following him since he beat Ledwaba (spelling?) on 2 weeks noticed then beating Barrera I and that made me his fan since then. Another reason is it might be his last fight now being a congressman. Win or lose it really doesn't matter 'cause he's the fighter that gives excitement and not afraid to take any challenge.

 

I'm buying it. I think it's a very interesting matchup actually. Interested in seeing if Manny can do what Shane did.

I'd go with a mayweather decision.

I wouldn't be surprised if Pac stopped him though, I just wouldn't bet on it.

 

Pac vs Margo settles no questions, creates no new stars and just furthers the case for in house fighting.

It is disgraceful to the sport of boxing to cheer this thing on.

 

Don't really care either way...don't think Margarito deserves a shot at making a nice payday. Don't think that not wanting to take blood tests is suspicious. Go through it if you don't have anything to hide.

Personally I don't think any of these fighters are scared like so many on this board say. Most people are saying that Money is scared, but this isn't like fighting on the streets though. These guys do it for business and to make money. Mayweather had 1 fight in 2009 and still ended up in the top 10 athletes earning in 2009. The guy def rubs a lot of people the wrong way, but apparently knows what he's doing to make money.

 

Dude, quit bitching.....the only fight that will settle any questions is May/Pac. This is still a good fight. I actually think Pac is gonna hit him at will and it will be a one-sided affair, but who knows, Margo might catch up to him like he did Cotto.

I honestly want to see Alexander fight Pac, but I want him to get through Khan and Bradley first. Cottos fighting Berto maybe, so that's good also. **** it, if Pac and Margo fight, then that's good enough for me. :deal One thing is for damn sure, there will be some fireworks in that fight for sho'
