Promoters Gary Shaw and Lou DiBella have expressed interest in matching WBC middleweight champion Sergio Martinez against Alfredo Angulo. Martinez is willing to move down to 154-155 pounds to face Angulo. Both promoters face a big problem in making that fight because HBO is standing their ground on making a rematch between Martinez and Paul Williams....................I DON'T BLAME HBO,THE FIGHT THAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN IS THE REMATCH- WILLIAMS VS MARTINEZ!

Williams is HBO's house boxer, he is a damned fake. Martinez beat his arse, yet Wiliams' judges gave his a decision, while fans knew the difference. Margarito be the crap out of Williams, Williams was a bloody mess, yet HBO's judges gave decision to their house boxer Wiliams. Cintron was on his way to a knockout over Williams, yet again, Williams' judges saved him. Doctors would not allow Cintron to continue to fight, of course, cheater Williams is a fraud, but he makes money. Damned *******s!

Good. This is a fight that needs a rematch. Williams dream of fighting dapidran aren't going to happen anytime soon.

He's an idiot. He'll repeat the same thing over and over and over and over and over again. Just ignore him.

HBO's favorite boxer is Williams, their judges will always give Williams a decision but what if Martinez knocks Williams out?! How will HBO's judge cheat?

HBO is not in charge of the boxers they can fight whoever they want and all HBO can do is refuse to air it. Martinez deserves a couple of paydays before rematching williams in my opinion. He earn it the hard way so let him fight angulo kick his overrated ass get some money on the process and then rematch williams.

williams outworked and outboxed margarito, and the fight with martinez was razor thin and could have gone either way. you have no clue how the cintron fight would have turned out because he divebombed his dumbass out of the ring before the fight could truly unfold, intentionally or not. no way is paul williams a fraud, you're blind

HBO have a shitty attitude toward martinez. williams won't take the fight anyway, they'll show williams the octopus tangling up opponents in his arms and legs and helping them vacate the ring.

martinez should have more leverage than williams as he's the middleweight champ. angulo is a very reasonable fight and would make martinez look sensational.

lou dibella should take the fight to showtime. HBO is not the only way.

Paul Williams is for real. He throws ugly slappy punches and is generally a technical mess, but boy is he a machine. The fight with Martinez wasn't incredibly clear to me and Cintron could have got up if he didn't start hamming trying to get a point or whatever the **** he was doing. He clearly beat Margarito, imo. Tony just gave away too many rounds.

I think the rematch would be a more watched fight than a fight with Angulo, but either way I'm happy.

williams is wanting 50-50 for a martinez rematch, when martinez is the champ. i feel williams is the problem here. it's not like any of the welters are going to fight him, anyway. what a silly idea, shrinking back down when he's fought at 154 and 160. when he came in light for the junior middleweight fight with cintron, it's not like he made any kind of statement, whatsoever. it was a waste of time fight.

And i hope HBO is also gonna stand firm on a january bradley-alexander clash. although there's also talk of bradley fighting khan next which would be nice, but i don't think golden boy will let that happen just yet. any way the point here obviously is that it seems like the good folks at hbo have woken up some and are standing firm on the best matches being brought to their network. let's hope they hold to it!
