I can, and will. Bruno would KTFO everyone on that list. Berbick, yeah, he was OK but that's about all. The Likes of Tubbs, Pinklon Thomas, Witherspoon, Tony Tucker - if they were off cocaine for a couple of weeks at least... - would clean up that list too. Rahman is really a 90's fighter in that list, as is Hide. I cannot see Gomez, Arreola, Thomson, Chambers, JOHNSON, winning a single fight against any of those guys -without some enormous luck in the fight.
Lewis would never give King options. He wasn't that desperate. convinced to dive. Evander was chose because Tysons managers thought he was easy pickings at the time. Tysons post prison career was all smoke and mirrors. If he'd faught Lewis back then, Lewis would have smashed him too. Tyson fought Holy after fighting something like 4 rounds in 5 years. It was all about money. I don't think Tyson has ever been afraid of anyone - except George Foreman apparently. But I think King didn't want to lose his meal ticket - unless he could get options on Lewis of course......... Laughable. Show me ONE shred of evidence that POST prison Tyson was anything more than a top 5 kind of fighter. AT BEST. Anything. "Cocoon of HOrror" McNeeley? Busther Mathis Jr? Bruno? Terrified and with one eye. Seldon? 2 losses with Holy. Troubled by Botha for a while, resorting to try and break his arms and ****. Orlin Norris? Julian Francis? Lou Saverase? Andrew "I've had enough thanks" Golota? (ruled a NC anyway). **** me. 1 good fighter faced, and lost to him twice. Post prison Tyson was a cynical and obvious attempt to make money. End of story.
Oh STFU dum. boy.. Bruno was knocked out million times. Who did he ever beat, Oliver McCall? Look this Chump Wins between he was knocked the **** out.. priceless bums mostly losing records. Bruno wasnt a ****.
Slapping your forehead and calling Bruno only "ten times better" Moron...atsch He was ****ing destroyed every time he tried to step up. CHUMP.
Yeah, i guess nobody knew who this Tyson bum was before he got done for ****....atsch GTFOH Even if the Klits gangbanged someone on video and posted it on youtube, Tyson having a **** would still garner more attention... The only person who rivals Mike Tyson in terms of boxing popularity in the whole of boxing history....is one Muhammad Ali. And coming second to Muhammad Ali isnt such a bad thing
2 say that todays heavys couldn't compete with fighters from the 80's and not win belts is ridclous! Green wasn't tha good, Bonecrusher was hit and miss, Tubbs was fat not to mention the division was littered with addicts.
millions of times?? he was knocked out 5 times. they were: mike tyson twice - who is one of the biggest punches in heavyweight history!!.. plus, he hit bruno clean loads of times without him going down.only succuming to tyson after MANY big punches!.. bruno had a very good chin. lennox lewis - who is one of the greatest fighters in history.bruno gave him a tough fight before getting knocked out in the 7th.. also, alot of people had bruno ahead 1-2 points on the scorecards when the fight was stopped. tim witherspoon - who bruno was ahead on points against, until he gassed in the 11th and got stopped.. and whitherspoon was a good fighter. the other guy was called smith or something.. haven't seen the fight, so can't really comment on that.. don't know how good smith was either. he beat some pretty good fighters also... jesse ferguson - who has wins over ray mercer and james "buster" douglas.his losses came against the very best at the time. oliver mccall - who you've already mentioned, and know all about. carl "the truth" williams - who was a pretty good fighter.has a handful of wins against named opponents. joe bugner - who went the distance with ali twice and once with frazier.he went the distance with ron lyle before losing on a SD.he has some good wins also. gerry coetzea - another good fighter who mixed with the best.has wins over some credible fighters. you saying bruno wasn't a good fighter doesn't hold water for me.he wasn't the greatest.. but he was still a very good fighter.bruno would knock out every one in todays heavyweight division apart from vitali.. and i say that without having any doudt what-so-ever.
Funny, I just said in another thread the late 80s early 90s heavies was nothing special, obviously besides Iron Mike. Now mid 90s is another story....
You deluded little pri--.. Wouldnt surprise you are brit too who are trying to Squeeze Bruno in every god damn thread considering some fantasy match ups. History has showed Bruno is not elite guy and he had his changes. He is annoying little British hero. He would get humiliated and knocked out by Wlad not to mention Vitali. Of course he would have small puncher chance vs Wlad but thats it. More likely He would lose Jab competition against Wlad and after few hard right hands and left hooks Bruno would be all over the place as usual when he tried to Step up or Fight god damn decent Boxer. I give you that his early losses due to Taking over dose of steroids and spending too much time at Gym pumping Iron and becoming such a huge pile of muscle. He sure got huge power and looked more of like Bodybuilder than Boxer. too bad he could not improve his horrible stamina&heart. Bruno 2nd Rate Chump.:bart
Are you talking about the mid 80's when Tyson rose to prominence? That era was a down time in heavyweight boxing full of so-so heavyweight fights. Tyson cleaned up on many guys who were already beaten / on the decline in specular fashion, but that does not make the time line better. Spinks had nothing left. Holmes was old. In fact Tyson faced a few guys Holmes had already beaten years ago. Outside of Bruno and Douglas, who was a big threat from 1895-1989? Ok, Maybe Witherpsoon, but team Tyson did not fight him.
here's the rankings for 1990 http://www.heavyweightaction.com/Yearly Rankings.html the klits couldn't beat half of the 10 ten
No one aside from Tyson or Holyfield has a reasonable chance of beating the Klitschkos from that list, Orlin Norris is number 3 FFS.
Tyson was so dominatng he made guys look bad, his era was not greatest, but he had tough opponents, Bruno, Ruddock, Berbick, Holmes, Spinks. Holmes was not that old, he was still good, and may have won against a weaker champ.
