Anyone else think Margarito is going to be a horribly difficult opponent for Pac?

Would Hatton have lasted as much as Margo there against Mosley? **** NO!

And like i said, if Manny stops Margo, id consider it a bigger win than the Hatton win. Neither Margo nor Hatton are A level fighters like MAB/EM/JMM/Cotto, but they are both bigger than Manny, and Margo is much more bigger still. Which will make this more impressive if he does manage to stop him.

there are 3 champs at 154, yet pac chooses to take on a bum for the vacant strap.

there are loads better fights out there and i wish he would have chosen one of them.

since twatting hatton pac has taken on top level fighters. he didnt take on mosley but that is ok cos he took on clottey instead who was probably the best available option.

this fight aint the best available option.

 

I would much rather see Pac fight Bradley, but Arum wants an in-house fight so he can line his own pockets, so here we are. I think Margo is a difficult fight, but it doesn't mean I think it is a good fight. Margarito should not walk into a fight like this after being caught cheating in the way he did. I agree, there are better options out there than this, I blame Arum.

At that time, id have favoured hatton pre fight. with hindsight hatton probably would have got knocked out but pac took on hatton in his prime.

To all those who think this will be easy for Pacquiao - when else have you ever seen a guy facing these levels of size disadvantage win at a canter? Jones beat Ruiz, but Ruiz barely even mustered any resistance, he is and always was a C-class fighter. Margarito will not allow it to be as easy for Pacquiao, no way.

 

if margo trains 100% and really gets himself ready i can see pac having some trouble with him. hes not gonna be slipping pac punches by any means but i'd like to see how he uses his height advantage. i dont think it'll be a blowout like most.

 

I blame arum also, i believe pac has minimal input as to who he fights.

i cant believe he is promoting margo tho, the guy got caught cheating, even if he didnt cheat vs cotto he got found out.

i knew he would come back but i hoped in a smaller fight, not vs #1 p4p.

 

For the last time, a stoppage victory. And like i said Margo and Hatton are both B level fighters at best, so the size diffrence is the factor here, in which Margo gets the edge. But hey, thats just my opinion.

pac punishes marg for all 12 rounds....and the fight aint even gonna be at a full 154...pac gonna come in at a catch weight to win an alphabet title so his leverage in negos go up against mayweather...if the size wasnt a problem why not fight pwill or berto or someone thats not washed up....no kudos to top rank and **** bob arum

Help me out here, i tried putting a poll up about this debate but my phone keeps autofilling the fields and it messes up lol

 

Total sham and it will be a one-sided fight.

This fight is going to resemble the Pacquiao vs Clottey fight. Sure, Margarito will throw a few more punches but he is slow as heck compared to Manny and certainly is not going to make up for that disadvantage with superior craft.

Manny is going to do what he did to Clottey, give him angles and use his speed and skills. Margaritio is not good enough, plain and simple. People trying to say this fight may be difficult are the same people who were sniffing glue before the Clottey fight.

Another setup fight, and a total cherry pick. Not to mention it is disgusting that Margarito is getting a title shot. I refuse to pay any money that helps out that scumbag cheat.
