S'pose your right. But, looking at it from Maloney's angle, it was a terrible promotional decision.

    This x10.

People think that these prospects are owed something. If they can't cut it, they can't cut it, we shouldn't want fighters that aren't very good progressing because of soft matchmaking, its this kind of reasoning thats ruining this sport.

Didn't catch his fight last night but I take it we saw a continuation of what we already knew. Jeffries is not improving and has a ton of bad habits.

Wasn't blaming Jeffries in the original, I was blaming the entire team around him.

However, the ring announcer does clearly say (while Jeffries and ALL his team are in the ring) "this is a special light heavyweight contest of 8 three minute rounds"

    Someone must have heard him?!

the fact is he has to be matched soft or he'd be beaten, im not just going of this one performance its just a fact that isen't his fault, he,s been thrown into the public eye. by very kind selection by amateur oficials who don't know a good boxer from their elbow, or do, but are curupt, moloneys bought into him because he sells tickets, but i bet he didn't even emagine the way amateur oficials steer some fighters into positions they shouldent be in, it can be dangerous, would he ever be able to beat a boxer like macintosh, or paul david, he moved gyms because a amateur in that gym was beating him badly in sparring, this same boxer isen't liked by oficials and treat like ****, so, does the best boxers get the oppertunities, definatly not.:-:)-:)-(

my problem was he had excuses ready, come on your a pro now! be prepared for any situation in the ring is part of the sport. he was out of breath and gone, another round and it could of been embaressing.

six... eight... ten it does not matter he should have been in good condition he is 25! if the opponent had more killing instinct then it could have been a different story. this is what happens when you get spoon fed easy latvians who give you nothing and then come up against a guy a bit better who does not give a **** WHO YOU ARE!

If I'd known the welcome was so warm I may have posted sooner; probably should've held out for the year, mind.

    Lights out within 5.

I still can't believe how bad Jeffries was last night. I mean, i've never been impressed, but that was just pure ****. He's looked clueless in his last few fights against, let's be honest, poor opponents. He didn't look focused when he started his ring walk either. Too bothered about the crowd and all this Sunderland FC bollocks (no offence to sunderland fans). He seems to think he's already made it.
