I don't think Mayweather will fight for Cottos belt.. He will probably say he doesn't want it like with Mosleys.

I doubt it. Floyd isn't fighting for belts.

    Pac/Mayweather to unify at 154?

I don't think so. Pacquiao/Margarito is for no belt.

Mayweather/Cotto (if done) would probably be for the 154 WBA belt. But also Mayweather might force Cotto to go down to 147, or catchweight.

After all that, Mayweather/Pacquiao would be at catchweight, or maybe for the 154 WBA belt. But no way it will be unification.

Why would Floyd fight cotto for a WBA belt when he already had a WBC, the one he considers genuine, in the past? Getting the WBA from Cotto is just an expensive fee, and it doesn't add anything to his legacy since he's already champ in 5 weight classes.

Floyd doesn't take any body belt apart from the WBC's. Hence why he didn't pay the sanctioning fee's for Mosley's WBA welterweight belt.

if floyd cotto comes off it should be at 154.

if this is the case it is one of the benefits of pac fighting margo. cos surely than people will see floyd/pac as the best 147/154 fighters in the world.

that would actually increase the demand for a fight i suppose. depends how they look at the higher weights.

Pac-Marg is for the vacant WBC light-middleweight belt.

Also floyd wont fight for the title if he did fight at 154...the only fight i could see him paying any sanction fees would be a wbc shot at 160 which probably not coming off....or a fee at 147 for his wbc belt with berto

at 154 pac or cotto having a belt or not makes no difference...floyd not paying the fees
