Why was shane "old" when he fought Floyd but Bhop was "timeless" when beating Pavlik?

just people being haters. he came off a career best victory prior to floyd. simple as.

 

BHop was old when he beat Pavlik IMO. And he was old when he lost to Calzaghe before he fought Pavlik.

I remember when Cotto outboxed Mosley, most people said Mosley was old. That was 3 years before Mosley vs Mayweather and to top it off Mosley was inactive for 16 months before the Maywaether fight.

 

B-Hop was old and clearly past it but still plenty good enough to beat Pavlik and has a style that will always give Kelly fits.

Mosley is a fighter who depends on being faster than his opponents and his power, and can be outboxed. At 38, he had a chance, but just too old. Still Floyd gets some credit.

And Calzaghe is better than Margarito so that comparison is not that fitting. Plus he has a style that combines speed and volume and gave B-Hop huge problems (and wouldn't have been an SD if B-Hop had fought clean).

 

BHOP is a much better boxer than Shane. Calzaghe is a much better boxer than Margarito. Wait, forget my comment I'm not awake enough to even follow what you're asking.

shane is always there to be outboxed, it is no coincidence that the best boxers he has fought have all beaten him, (some believe odlh won their fight)

with hindsight i am surprised that cotto beat him tho, at first i thought it was since cotto was too strong, but then he destroyed margo so i dunno.

 

Calzaghe slapped a tiny cut on BHOP's neck and ever since then, BHOP has had this scary safety pin where the scar is...makes him look like a bad mother****er.

 

Because people feel the need to find some alternative explanation for everything that happens. Sometimes people just get their asses beat. Ignore the haters. You are probably a hater too when it comes to other fighters who you don't root for. So you're no different from the people you are complaining about with this thread.

 

Bhop WAS old when he beat Pavlik... it's just that Pavlik isn't that good

 

It's like the Kelly fight. Kelly didn't have too much to gain. If he beat B-Hop most people would have said "oh B-Hop is old", if he loses then it proves he wasn't as good as many thought, if he loses in the way Kelly lost, he gets exposed.
