At least Dick Turpin wore a mask.

nobody is coming out this clean that's for sure. They've taken the public for mugs and the public have bought it so far. How much longer though? Green's viewing figure's and support in his next 'fight' should be interesting. I personally can't be ****ed with him any more.

Paul Briggs against Adamek was 10 times the fighter Green ever was/will be so if anyone deserves a share of Greens pie it's Briggsy. Got abit of coin and helped expose to the general public Greens true character. I would've loved to have seen Briggs smash the smug cocksucker but he hurt him in his own way. Go Briggsy haha

I'm cracking up at the poll they have on the page
Could you have beaten Paul Briggs last night?

Could you have beaten Paul Briggs last night? Yes. By a knockout
    Yes. But only on points.
No, because I had something else on

Reap what you sow...I have no sympathy for Green especially with no % offer of reimbursement to his loyal fans of WA, just an offer to make it up in his next fight they once again have to pay for :verysad

It's kinda nice that Briggs showed him that he's not in control of everything.

I don't get why people think Green should give the refunds, he trained hard and turned up for a fight. it's briggs and his team that should be paying up since they were the ones that dogged it.

It was his decision to do what he did so why should his fans have to pay for his incompetence. When Green said he would make it up to them 'in the next fight' I thought he was going to say he will give back their money...now I know he can't give it all back but to show his loyalty and honour the best thing he could do is offer something back.

As i said in another post he has to go for a real title in his next fight to get any credability back, slim chance of that happening though.

Green's next fight should cost from $1 to $3 for ringside and the PPV should be $1.75

talk about a sob story being told by the briggs camp.

so they knew he was in no shape for a fight but because they are his friends they let him fight.......ok, that makes sense.

i hope billy gives his share to poor old briggs....

What i don't get is why a lot of people are saying good on Briggs etc, when he is the one that is the fraud that stole the publics money, must run in the family his brother tried the easy road for a cash grab and is behind bars.

man, like billy said, if he didnt say yes someone else would have, & i agree, better to have a friend there whos looking out for you during the fight than a trainer with no personal intrest.

But Billy could of told greens camp what a mess Briggs was and it wouldn't went ahead instead of telling the press etc that Paul was punching like a superman etc.

$$$$$ Paul did what he did and Green was left standing in the ring with egg on his face...IF he respects his loyal fans of WA he will not take their hard earned money for a pathetic excuse of a fight 'simple as'.

I think the whole point was that Briggs needed a payday, green made him an offer he couldn't refuse so he bluffed his way into the fight with the help from his mate. Yes it was a sham of a fight and the only reason it happened is because green wanted another old name as a soft touch on his record, easy payday and a name to boost his ego. It backfired in a bigway because Briggs didn't treat it as a serious fight.
