    People often mention cases of fighters absorbing big single shots. While that's impressive, I'm more amazed when fighters continue to take numerous shots to the head. Prolonged beatings in which guys stay on their feet (or get stopped way later than 99% of fighters would).

    They should have stopped those fights way sooner. That's a huge problem in boxing in my opinion.

    cant really stop Mayorga when he continually fights back.

    I wonder how much energy he would have had left if he didnt let tito unload in the first rd

    Tex Cobb had one helluva chin and a concrete dome. Howard Cosell retired from boxing commentating after that fight, he felt the ref should've stopped the fight a lot sooner.
