I really wonder what Don King is hoping for. What kind of miracle would make him more money than this?

Settle for that? He's an aging contender who brings almost nothing to the table aside from the freak show curosity of Vitali fighting a man who is actually bigger than him. No belt...totally inactive. What is he ranked, exactly? He should take the money and shut his mouth because this is his last change to make a million in the ring. Really, what are his other options?

I think after Valuev said in the that first interview that the fight is a done deal and he'll fight Klit for 1.5 million there was a phone call from King who said: "Listen my dear Russian friend, you can go out there and fight Klitschko for 1.5 million, or 1 million, or 500k or 10 rubles for all I care, but I want my million dollars by the time Christmas shopping seasons starts here in the US. You got that? Have a nice day".

So Sugar Niko turns the tables and starts whining again that 1.5 mio is not enough. He even says is straight: Don King is against that.

Valuev, Haye, Povetkin... these guys all sign contracts with promoters then complain that the brothers offers arent enough after they pay everyone.

How is that The brothers fault?

1.5 million for Valuev with NO belt is a good payday. If it sucks... then let them make an offer to Vitali (which we all know wont happen)

Just a nice payday. Valuev is finished, he knows that. He's known that since he stunk up the joint against Holyfield. That's why he took the Haye fight. Fact is, any top contender could have whipped Vauev.

Ok I'll give you that one it is not the brothers fault but I still think that Valuev deserves more than the 1.5 Vitali is offering.

Isn't anyone besides me curious why Valuev isn't taking the Haye rematch? Don King's orders? I mean, he complains about Klitschko, but he can't make more against Haye? I thought Haye was the golden goose who sold hundreds of thousands of pay per views. Something just doesn't smell right.

Because he was tricked out of it by Sauerland.

Why? You do know that Valuev has a guaranteed rematch against Haye, right? Well, can you guess why he's not exercising it? Because Haye isn't offering more than 1.5 million. Since Haye insists on keeping all UK pay per view rights, his opponents don't make ****. I'm almost certain that I read that John Ruiz made 750,000 pounds for his fight against Haye. (Please correct me if I am wrong). Obviously, that is far less than the 1.5 million Vitali is offering Valuev. Sorry, but the market only gives you what you are worth, and without a title or even a good victory in the past 4 years, 1.5 million sounds like charity to me. :D
