arum is a liar. ok i strongly agree the thing is, arum went public about the negotiations and if the negotiation were non existent, what kept team mayweather from exposing arum IN FRONT OF THE MEDIA! and what about oscar's comments about getting close to the fight? shaffer about the gag order?
its looks to me like neither side made any serious attempt to make this fight suppose arum lied, team mayweather didn't push for it to happen either, neither side were really interested.
I said all of this before the deadline ended. All Pac did was agree to old terms. Arum knew all along he could make PBF look like the bad guy with the countdown clock and saying that Pac had agreed and PBF hadn't when in reality Arum never once spoke to PBF nor did they agree to PBF's current demands. It's the main reason why Arum is the biggest POS and snake in boxing. It's pathetic really.
Anyone who cites Bleacher Report as proof of anything is an idiot. This is the same website that claimed to have proof of Don King putting together Tyson-Holyfield III, among other snafus. As far as I can tell, pretty much anyone can write whatever they want on there and call it a blog.
but floyds team didn't try make anything happen either they said arum lied about the negotiation but why didn't they try push for the fight? why didn't they send out a contract?
It's not what Arum said, no one believes that pig.... It's what mayweather didn't say. He never said he wanted the fight or would try to make it happen. "We never negotiated" is just as bad as lying about negotiations. Make the ****ing fight, you money grubbing frauds.
I don't even care who's fault it is that the fight was never made. As I said, I think they should both take a 50/50 purse split, give the winner more if they wish, and accept the drug testing that the Commission of whatever state they fight in deems necessary. End of story. If Mayweather wants to retire and focus his energies on rising the Commission standards then all the power to him, but he can't pretend he's above them. They set the standards for boxers, no individual fighter does. And if Mayweather can't accept these rules, fine, fight someone who's going to allow him to dictate what he feels is fair. Meanwhile Pac who obviously wants to fight someone, is planning his next fight. Personally I doubt they're ever going to fight and history will decide who to blame.
Grab me when a more credible source can validate this claim... Then explain to me why DLH came out a month ago and said that negotiations were 'very close' to being done... This whole thing is such a ****in disaster man.. I don't know what to believe anymore. lol
There was one according to De La Hoya. Doesn't he promote Floyd :huh You are just in serious, serious denial my friend. I would really hate it to if a guy I worshiped ( I don't worship anyone, but if I did) was proven to be the biggest ***** in the sport he is in. I know it hurts, but time shall heal your broken heart.
It's funny how all you guys came with excuses for Manny and was backing him so tough when he ducked floyd the first time!!! Nobody was up in arms back then now everybody is so pissed off. Yall should have been pissed off 6 months ago when Manny had 50/50 and didnt' sign the fight over a drug test cut-off date of 14days. People said Manny had pride and he didnt have to give in to Floyd and stuck by that ****. So now im saying this Floyd doesnt have to give in to Manny and his set date to fight. Floyd has pride and will not be dictated to by Manny and Arum. Floyd will be the fighter of the year and deserves a break! He did just beat the #1 WW in the world!
FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR- I'M ON VACATION AND I'M NOT THINKING ABOUT BOXING(PACQUIAO) RIGHT NOW. END THREAD:hi::hi:
why didn't team floyd try make the fight happen? why didn't they call out arum and pac on their bull**** earlier instead of sitting around doing nothing?
