Tua by razor thin decision. I think he rocks Peter a bunch of times to take rounds, but Peter doesn't stay down at any point.
Prime Peter was knockdown 3 times by Mccline for goodness sake. Imagine if that was a prime Tua nailing Peter with his left hook? Peter would be seeing stars.
I have to go with Tua...A prime Tua would be to much for Peter IMO...He would be at Peter non-stop and dont see how will Peter keep Tua from getting on the inside.
I mean seriously, prime Tua was an animal. It was like close to a version of Mike Tyson with his power. The reason why Ruiz became a clinch fighter cause of the way Tua Ko Ruiz.
That may not necessarily mean that Tua could do what McCline did, though. I would argue that Wlad is a harder puncher than McCline and he didn't even have Peter woozy until the 12th round. Vitali manhandled Peter, and couldn't put him down, either. Sometimes a hit on the right spot can make all the difference, like how the non-murderous punching Monte Barrett was able to do what no one else could do against Tua. I do have a suspicion that this fight would go the distance. Tua would still win, though.
I agree and too add, I think Tua has a very solid chin...So mainly whatever Peter brings to the game...I think Tua would be able to take it dish it right back out. This is a bad, bad fight for Peter!
First off, if you're a true boxing fan you would know that Barrett fought a shot 38 years old Tua. Prime Tua was in close to the late 90's where he weigh around the 220's. Wlad has great power but he's not the pressure fighter like a prime Tua. Vitali is not a 1 punch ko artest and he's not a pressure fighter like a prime Tua. Nobody not name Ike has ever survive a toe2toe war with a prime Tua. Mccline is not even a close to a prime Tua level and Mccline don't have close to the punching power that Tua had.
