Paul Williams vs the Super 6

He beats Abraham, Froch, Kessler and Green, too active. Abraham might bang him out of there but I wouldn't necessarily put my money on it.

Dirrell would outbox him pretty solidly for 12 and I just see ward tying him up and beating him on the inside, or outboxing him comfortably.

 

The fact that people are comparing a guy who is prepared to step onto the ring with Mayweather and Pac, with people in the Super 6 is a testament to how much of a p4p fighter he is...

 

Hmm...skinny WW who hasn't even fought at 168? He doesn't advance at all. Lets no go nuts guys...

 

Good grief. 'Too active'? Are we going to ignore the fact that he's out-sized, taking punches he's never felt before, and has a non-existant defence?

 

He doesn't win a single fight.

 

I can't think of a single SprMW who was in (including Taylor) who I would favor him to beat.

 

Or it tells you how ridiculous and meaningless this P4P things really is.

 

Williams vs Kessler: I can see PDub putting a solid hurting on Kessler, he's long and active. Willikams UD

Williams vs Abraham: I don't think Paul will stay out of the way of an AA bomb. If he does he gets a clear UD. If not, AA KO10.

Williams vs Green: Allan Green's left hook won't matter too much cause he won't land it enough to matter. Williams UD

Williams vs. Froch: Williams is way too active for Froch, and Froch is way too slow and technically inferior. Maybe a late accumulation TKO.

Williams vs. Dirrell: P-Dub is one of my favorites, but this maybe the 1st time he gets whipped like he stole something. Dirrell is too technically sound on offense and defense to let PDub's activity bug him. Dirrell UD.

Williams vs. Ward: I would have to say this is the best match-up. I can see Ward trying to fight Williams like he fought Green, but I don't think it'll work. I score it a draw IMO.

 

He is as as tall as the tallest man in the tournament. he could easily fill out to 168 imo, fairly comfortably. He has a great WR and that matters a lot in terms of scoring. I don't think anyone in this tournament could KO him with the exception of AA and Froch POTENTIALLY. It's not like Froch, Green, AA, etc. are defensive wizards either.

EDIT: I think Kessler could outbox him. I'm not so sure since he's been through a lot but it's possible.

 

Why won't he step into the ring with Martinez who starched his ass in the first fight!!! ( and didn't get the judges nod )
